Synergy Electric Vest
I bought this thing a while back and I love it! This has been the single most effective way of staying warm that I have found. I have ridden with this vest in under 30 degree weather (approx 25) and stayed toasty warm. I did have on a full riding suit too. I wish I would have bought one sooner. The only complaint I have is the grommet that holds the control wire in the vest came loose and was pulling the wires out. I used gorilla tape and it seems to hold.

Great performance for the price.
I can't say how this vest compares to others, as it is the first that I have owned. I can say that I am amazed that I have survived thirty years of riding without one! I recommend closely following Tour Master's size guide, as they are much more generously sized than you would think. I am 6 foot and 160 lbs and my small fits a bit too loosely. The vest has large elastic panels on the sides which would accommodate quite a range and keep the vest snug. Finish and performance of the vest are great. The only criticism I might make would be that the cord on the controller is a bit short, limiting options for placement. It is easy to operate with gloves on without looking.

HEATED VEST
Good value for the price. Fits perfect and allows me to ride to work in the early morning cool air more comfortable. Great vest.

Works very good BUT very weak electric wiring
This is my second Tour Master Vest. On the first vest the electric wiring pulled completely out of the vest after using it just 4 or 5 times. Motorcycle Superstore "did" refund my money and I liked the fit and warmth of the vest so much that I purchased another one. The vest works and fits very well.

Warm and Toasty
Not only does it fit good also use it as just a vest in cool weather. Does get might warm on the high setting of I have never used. Just played with it. Mostly use low or medium settings. Only grip is the control cable short and very stiff

Synergy Heated Vest Liner
This is my first heated garment, and I have to say I wish I had gotten this years ago. Really extends my riding temperature range. My only beef is with the control unit. It's supposed to strap to your leg, but the included strap won't fit around my thigh. Granted I do have scrawny legs, but still, I end up having to MacGyver something to keep it from dangling down. Once I come up with something that I'm happy with, it will be all good.

Warm as a glove
Nice fit and very comfortable. Only wish the settings were a bit finer. Even low at times is still too warm. Could also use a longer control cable but nitpicking as its a very nice vest for the price, and super easy to install.

Perfect fit
Vest works great. Plenty of heat to keep you toasty even in the coldest weather. I am thinking of buying a second one for the wife.

Tour Master Synergy Heated Vest
This thing is great, I love it. The fit is excellent and it works like a charm. I am now able to comfortably ride in 30 degree days that I would have passed on riding before. Well worth the money.

heated vest
Once I got a controller that worked the vest has worked great. Although I have only been using it for about a month. I ride in temperatures as low as 10 degrees and the vest keeps my torso toasty warm. However I need to wear a flannel over it and under my jacket to create no room for air to go up my sleeves. If you want something better, the heated jacket might be a better choice.

Great product
This heated vest is very comfortable with stretch panels to help fit snugly. It heats quickly and consistently throughout the vest. In 42 degree weather with snow on the side of the road at 2000 feet it kept me toasty. I wish it had more than three heat settings to more finely tune the heat as it can get very hot, then not warm enough. This can require frequent adjustment at times. It fit well under my armored touring 3/4 touring jacket. The controller was a little awkward to use while moving but I'm sure I was not supposed to do that. The heating elements are unobtrusive. The wire pigtail is long enough and easily wired into my fuse block under the seat. Electrical connection to the vest is easy. A very good value. I can only guess how it will hold up over time, but fit and finish are high quality.

Plug and Go!
Confused about "heat-trollers" and plug types? Buy the TourMaster Synergy vest or pants or jacket and you will have everything you need to plug in and ride. Attach 2 rings, one to each battery terminal and you're ready to go. Simple. And it works. Make sure it fits tightly so the wires warm the skin. I like to wear the vest under a sweater or fleece inside my jacket. Wind-chill factor of 28 degrees Fahrenheit was no problem the other morning.

Fantastic Vest. Heats almost instantly. Easy to use and install. I live in the mountains of CA. Quite often, the morning temps are below 30 degrees. The vest is perfect to help maintain your core temp. MSS is a fantastic company to deal with. They resolved my problem without hassle and did so on time and cheerfully. I will do business with them again!

Fantastic
Went riding with 2 buddies that didn't have heated vest in 40 degree temps which was more like 25 going down the road, we arrived at the restaurant for lunch, while they shivered holding their coffee I sat comfortably drinking margaritas. Great product!!!

Great Investment
I ride a dual sport. No wind shield no fairings. All the cold wind hits me right in the chest. This vest, combined with the synergy heated gloves, makes a great combination. The price was a major reason for choosing, but I am very happy with it. I’ve been comfortable in it, down to about 40 degrees, below that my head gets too cold from the wind on the helmet anyways. Would choose the synergy heated jacket if money allows, gloves too, pants would probably be good too.

Tourmaster Synergy heated Vest
Bought this vest to extend the season, wasn't sure if it would be enough with the cold fall weather in Massachusetts. Boy was I wrong. Vest works great under my leather. Don't need anything on my arms, everything stays pretty warm. Normally on the low setting if it's above 32 and on medium at anything less. I am really impressed with the controls on it as well. Controller straps to your thigh and it's easy to switch levels without looking at the control, hooked it up in 5 minutes. Overall, a great product., only negative is that it wasn't free :)

Great piece of gear...watch out for sizing
Seems well made and works great. Controller is easy to use. The sizing seems to run very large - I am 6'1" 170 lbs, I ordered a medium and it was too BIG. Returned it for a small, now it's fine. I ordered a coax to SAE adapter along with it but the adapter was a different brand (Fieldsheer?) and the coax didn't fit. I ended up making my own adapter by cutting off the ring terminals from the battery connection piece and soldering that to a Battery Tender pigtail.

Toasty Warm!!!
I have to say that I have been waiting a long time for this vest. Usually they are out of stock when I would go to buy one. Well I know why. Super warm. I got the vest with the collar. No more wind blast up the back of the helmet and the heat that is generated permeates the entire jacket on the inside. The fit is good and should fit snug as per the directions and the controller is easy to use while riding. It is everything I have grown to expect from Tour Master...practical easy to use and high quality. I don't shy away from early morning Fall and Winter rides any more or late night travels. I highly recommend this vest to those who ride year round. Buy it!!!

Awesome Vest for Cool Weather
I just received my Synergy Heated Vest Liner yesterday. Installation was simple. Took 5 minutes(4 minutes of which was just deciding exactly where I wanted my power cord to come out). It was about 40 degrees during my half hour morning commute and about 30 during my same half hour evening commute. I wore the vest under a soft shell jacket about as thick as a sweat shirt, but with better wind resistance. My core stayed nice and warm the whole time. I think next time I would spend a little more money and get the full jacket, but for now the vest is great. (Waiting for the Synergy Gloves to come in stock). Tour Master makes a great product and Motorcycle Superstore has the best prices I could find.

TOASTY WARM
I bought the vest for a cross country and into Ontario, Canada ride this past Sept. Well let me tell you when I left Eagle, CO at 3:30am and it was in the low 30's this vest kept me as warm as toast on the medium setting. I'm not sure what the high setting could ever be used for perhaps melting a glacier or something. It also was great for my lower back as I was doing 2 consecutive 1000+ mile days. I would highly recommend this vest for those long rides and cold weather commuters.

Tour Master Heated Vest
I think for the money you can’t get any better. The fit by the size chart was a little snug but it does not move under my coat so its OK. The vest heats up quick and I had to keep it on medium or low to ride in 50 degree weather, all in all very happy with it and it installs easy. I ran it off the back of the cigarette lighter since I don’t smoke.

Tourmaster Synergy vest
The Tourmaster Synergy vest fit looser than I expected, despite using their sizing chart. I'm OK with that because once I get my leathers on, they hold it tight against my body. The vest worked great ... for half an hour! After that, the heat controller died. Haven't been able to get it to work since. Luckily we had great weather on my tour of the Alps, and it wasn't that cold up at 10,000 feet. While it worked the heat was nice and even, and I was more than warm enough on the lowest setting. I am now waiting for Tourmaster to get back to me about fixing this.

Tourmaster Synergy heated vest liner
This purchase was made after quite a bit of studying the different types and manufacturers. There are quite a few out there. I’ve used this liner twice, so far I’m very impressed. The initial installation of the hookups took about 2 minutes. This liner includes the controller which appears to be very weather resistant. Many of the competitor’s models do not include the controller and it must be purchased separately. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the entire package.

Vested!
A nice warm vest to keep the chill off. The lower two settings are very low and as the vest itself keeps you warm, probably aren't going to be used much. The high setting is nice and toasty warm. Installation is easier than it sounds: I removed my positive battery cable at the battery and my negative at the frame. NOT in that order! Then re-attach with the vest controller wires and Bob's yer Uncle Robert, you're in business. Leave more than the the instructions call for to stick out of your seat though if you want to be able to move around a bit. A good buy!

Took a ride today w/ temps at 40 degrees. The vest worked great, heat was evenly spread about torso. Had it on med. but was too warm, switched to low & was perfectly comfortable even at 70 mph. Definitely would recommend this product. If you are riding a lot in this temp. range the liner w/ sleeves & collar would be the best choice.

Heated vest for winter riding fun.
I have only worn this vest one time but the comfort and the amount of heat with the heat set on the lowest setting was wonderful. So far it was well worth this purchase for my riding comfort and safety.

Fits well, snug and warm
Great value for the money. Very warm and easy to control with the included 3-step controller. Only downside is that it isn't compatible with a Gerbing controller (which I have installed). Not a problem if you use the TourMaster controller.

I've used the vest about a half dozen times in the past month. It's comfortable and heats evenly. The included 3-position switch w/leg strap works well but I would like to see TourMaster offer additional connector and controller options. I recommend this vest to anyone looking for a nicely crafted heated vest at a very reasonable price.

I usually wear 2X shirts but they fit loose so I ordered the XL vest and it fits perfect, I tested the gear out on a 200 mile hike in 20 degree weather and I was very comfortable. I had a fleece over it and a leather jacket, I also mixed it with the electric gloves. It is a perfect combination.

The vest itself is a high quality product that functions as it should. So far just had to use the medium temp but after a short time went down to low temp. Outside temp was low 30s. Before ordering was not sure of what was needed to hook it up. Via e-mail got with customer service who described all that was included and no extras were needed. I like how components are modular and can be added on, going to get the gloves next. Dealing with MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE is painless and above all HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS and you can save money.
