It has been a HOT summer, as everyone knows. I ride 2-up w/ my gal a lot and we have used regular bandanas cold soaked in cooler water around our necks that seem to stay wetter longer than these Cooldannas.

Pretty worthless. The section with the water absorbing gel is only a few inches long. I have another similar product from another manufacturer and the gel is all the way around my neck providing cooling for a period of time. This one will cool about 6" of my 17" neck.

Doesn't keep you as cool as you would like, but it does keep you cooler than nothing at all. Mesh and air ventilated armor is still needed for temperatures above 80.

The weather is still a little too cool to use this for its intended use, however, with the hot San Antonio summer just around the corner, I'm sure it will get its money's worth of use. It does work well as a dust protector also, to keep the dust, insects, and bugs from stinging your neck.

I live and ride in one of the hottest spots in the nation. This thing works, and works well. I have a cooling vest, this fits in between, keeps the back of my neck cool. Perfect.

On a mid-90s summer day, this kept me cool.
