If you have an iPhone or iPod, you know how uncomfortable the included ear buds are (top quality sound though)! With this helmet, you can route the wires through the Velcroed zipper line to the earflaps which will keep them pressed against your ear without that "invasive" feeling! It's like a concert in my helmet! Another plus is the iPhone buds allow you to control functions (including answer phone calls) with in line controls!

I have been on a quest for a helmet that fits my head! I have two others, they cost me twice as much $ and are the same size XS, but they don't fit. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a snap on the strap after fastening. I think Bell is my fit for helmets. I haven't worn it that much yet so don't know how durable it is.

Couldn't be happier than having the "leather-look" finish, and the metal black color. Looked all over for ear pads in a shorty helmet and HERE IT IS!

The helmet is for my wife. Fits and looks great on her but the strap flaps in the wind. The ring is helpful but not great. Would prefer a snap (click) strap. Mushroom head is smaller than most helmets. Does scuff a bit with casual use. For the price you can't beat a Bell.

Nice looking lightweight helmet. Shell gives slight "mushroom" head look, not as much as most DOT shorty's do. According to size chart I should wear a large. Lucky for me they only had X-large, and it fits perfect, even snug. I absolutely can't tell any difference between open/closed vents. Pre-addressed warranty card came back with "unknown at this address".

I was looking for a short name brand helmet, and was pleased to find this Bell Shorty on sale. The helmet looks and feels great. It is nice to be able to smell the woods again.
