Plain full jet still works for me
Only reasonably priced helmet I could find in XXXL. Basically the same as the helmet I wore forty years ago on my first bike. Works for me.

Cool Helmet
I got an orange/white and I'm pretty happy with it so far. A medium fit me pretty much the same as every other medium 3/4 helmet I've tried on, maybe a little loose around the ears, but not enough to feel unsafe.
It's not apparent from the pictures, but the stripes are only on the right side of the helmet. Adds some flavor, but might be a minus if you crave symmetry. Also, the Z1R logo you can barely see above the vents is painted on, not a decal. Again, not a huge thing, but I'd prefer a removable logo, or at least a much smaller one.

cool looks, but way too big
This helmet was really cool looking in the pictures but it’s way too big. It makes you look like a bobble head. I returned this and bought the skid lid touring helmet instead, and like it much better.

The helmet was a perfect fit from your measurement table. The color almost exactly matches my orange scooter and I think it is very stylish. I love the snap on the side. Only wish it had a snap close strap. That would make it easier to take on and off. Thanks

Highly recommended!
I can't say enough about this helmet. I love the old school styling which goes perfectly with my Triumph Bonnie. I typically take a size large. This was no exception. It is very comfortable. Fairly light weight. The vents work okay, although a 3/4 helmet shouldn't need much venting. Nice touch with the snap feature for the end of the chin strap. Every helmet should have this no brainer feature. I've only had it a few weeks and already am getting positive comments from interested riders.

Z1R - Jimmy Retro Stripe Helmet
I've worn the helmet riding and it is very comfortable. I love the retro look and it does not limit my vision. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an open face helmet.

This helmet is beautiful. I bought the orange version and then saw the white/red at the local store. Both are great helmets, but I stuck with the orange - seems more visible to motorists.

For safety, the orange globe provides a significant visual cue to other drivers of you presence. The fit is very comfortable and the finish is first rate. The amount of interior padding seems sparse compared to other brands I looked at. The chin strap has a nifty snap to hold the loose end from flapping in the breeze. My only disappointment is that the smoked visor does not provide a decent amount of eye shade as I would prefer. While the visor compliments the look of the retro helmet, it is not very functional. Overall, an extremely good product.

Good looking helmet for that retro look. Would fit better if I had a round head and not oval. Fit is not the best but for the price a great deal and looks good.

Helmet Review
If you’re looking for the old school easy rider helmet look, this is the one. It's not globe shaped like most open face helmets and because of this it looks smaller from a front profile. The only reason, I did not give it five stars is because there are other DOT helmets with thinner foam. For the price, you can't beat this one. Looks great with a gator for the drag racing look.
