Colin West Lafayette,  IN I wish it fit. If you are reading this you are interested in the look of this helmet. This is a super cool looking helmet and looks even cooler in person. Unfortunately the fit was just not right. I tried a small and a medium and both made my head look like a mushroom, and with this helmet...looks are everything. The padding was what you would expect at this price. I returned them both and went with the Z1R Ace which fits great. I wish Z1R would take some of their more expensive helmets and give them this cool retro styling....I would have paid more for it to fit well.

Colin West Lafayette,  IN I wish it would fit Well there is no doubt about how cool it looks. That is the best part of this helmet. I ordered a small and a medium and neither fit well. The small fit well on the sides but was too small in the crown. Sat very high on the head. The medium fit better on the crown but still sat high and made you look like a bobble head. The sides were loose and it did not feel safe. Hopefully they will take the cool style and give it a fit that is worth the looks.

Glenn Iannatto Staten Island,  NY Jimmy Clyde helmet I bought this helmet for riding without a windshield. My half helmet gets pushed back on my head by the wind. The Jimmy Clyde 3/4 helmet stays put, allows good visibility and is comfortable, especially on the highway. Having grown up in the 70's, this helmet has a great retro style and an “Evel Knievel” look. I've already had a few people ask where I got it.

Ashley New London,  WI Jimmy Clyde I was looking for a great looking and DOT approved helmet and this is it! The finish and paint is great, the red stripe even has a metal flake in it. The fit is good a little loose around my ears, but not too bad. It fits great other than that. The visor isn't shatter resistant, but I don't mind because I don't use it. All around great helmet and I would buy this product again. An awesome helmet that has a look that puts you back into the 70's.

Clay Wasco,  CA Great Buy The only thing I found that I could not rate a 5 was the fit and the only reason for that is it comes large. I ordered a med. and it fits lose. But I would recommend this helmet to any one, it looks good and it has a good feel when have it on.

Desmolicious Venice,  CA Sweet helmet I just received my Clyde. I ordered it cuz I loved the retro colors - very Evel Knievel w/o trying to be Captain America like so many others. I normally wear a medium, but ordered it small figuring if it was too small for me, my g/f can have it and I'll get another. Well, it runs large as it fits me perfectly. I have a long oval head and this thing is surprisingly comfy, with nice ear pockets so you don't get mashed ears. This contrasts to my much more expensive Fulmer bobber helmet in metalflake. That one is a cool looking helmet, but much less comfy than this Z1R. Only downside is the orange peel in the red stripe, but given the price I don't care. That's why I gave Finish a 3. Features get a 3 also because what features are there in an open face helmet?! So it's really a default score. I'd buy this one again.
