Product Description
Firstgear 65 Watt Heated Liner Jacket

Available in sizes for both men and women, Firstgear’s heated jacket liners are wired to work with Firstgear heated gloves. They fit comfortably, operate efficiently, and most importantly, maintain a safe and temperate riding experience. To top it off, a state-of-the-art Heat-troller is also available to vary the output of most other brands of heated apparel better than the original equipment. So instead of winterizing your motorcycle, keep it on the road by keeping yourself warm with tried-and-true, Firstgear, Warm & Safe heated apparel.

Firstgear's "no one left behind" policy ensures that riders of any model motorcycle can take advantage of the warming effects of heated apparel by choosing between either the 65- or 90-watt versions. Good for low-amperage bikes or passengers not requiring as much heat as the rider, the 65-watt units minimizes the draw on the bike's charging system.

Features:
  • The Firstgear Heated Liner Jacket is available in 90-watt and 65-watt versions.
  • Designed to be plugged into a DC power source or battery pack. Heat-trollers available to provide you with multiple ways to control the heat output in your heated gear.
  • Exclusive dual-zone heating system allows you to use the single or the dual Heat-troller without rewiring the liner. Liner rated at 110 watts at 12.8 volts.
  • Designed to be worn over a single layer of clothing, a t-shirt or other lightweight garment. A protective outer jacket should always be worn over it.
  • Built to be temperature neutral, so that you can wear your liner all day and not have to change clothing when you need heat
  • Lightweight soft nylon shell for minimum bulk, non-coasted finish for maximum breathability
  • Form fitting, snug fit for optimum heat transfer to body
  • Heating pads on front, upper and lower back, sleeves and collar for full heat coverage

Jim Northville,  MI Heated Liner Works well and the flexibility of being able to connect the gloves separately and stow the glove connection is a nice touch. 65 watts is adequate for riding for prolonged periods at 70mph at an ambient temperature of 35F with a typical textile overjacket.

broadwayLamb Crofton,  MD Comfortable I have worn this under my textile jacket and liner on a number of morning commutes when the temperature has been in the low to mid 30s. The jacket keeps me comfortable even on only 2/3rds power. Much better than trying to suffer through the winter wearing a million layers like last year. I got the 65 watt version because I think in Maryland it won't get cold enough to require more power than that. I'm 6'2" and a fairly lean build, and the large jacket fits perfectly. It seems well made but I've only had it for about a month. My only issue with the jacket is that it can be tricky to plug my heated gloves into the cords on the sleeves and then tuck the cords into my motorcycle jacket. Not a big deal, just takes a minute to get sorted out when suiting up for a ride.

Stephen Cramer Carlsbad,  CA Firstgear Heated Liner Works very well, the liner without heat is as advertised, good to 70 degree then needs to be removed for lighter gear. Only comment I would have is to check the bus fuse and make sure its greater than 15 amp with two jackets. I used the battery tender pigtail on a HD Road King and it blew quickly. Once a higher amp fuse was installed, worked great. Rode in moderately cold temps in the 50 to 60 degree range. Need a separate controller for each jacket, excellent customer service from Warm Gear. I am using both jackets on the HD and a GS1200.

John Clinton,  WA Plenty Warm This jacket liner keeps me plenty warm under my Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket. I especially love the heated collar. I use this with the semi mounted heat-troller and have never needed to turn the dial up past 75%. I would recommend this item to anyone who rides in cool weather (below 50 degrees) on a regular basis.

Frazier Pruett North Bend,  OR Heated Jacket Liner I have not used it much yet but so far so good. It evenly and keeps me warm. It is confusing trying to figure out all of the pockets and which connector goes where. I also had to return the first one due to size issues. I wear a size large jacket but a size large liner was too small. So beware the sizes run small.
