Just what I was looking for
Been looking for a waterproof layer to cover my Tourmaster Flex2 jacket and pants. Have ridden in my Lexan suit 4-5 times in pretty torrential rain over the last couple of weeks and have remained bone-dry underneath. Added visibility of the orange jacket helps a little too. Only request I'd have of Fieldsheer for future versions of this gear is to add more reflective piping - when it REALLY rains, we need all the help we can get to be seen. Other than that, HIGHLY recommended.

I was bummed it didn't come in red and black since that is the color of my bike.
I wear the jacket when it is not raining, because it is so light, and has the magic powers of reflection.
I got the Black-Yellow one. It keeps me dry. I got Medium and usually wear Medium. It is large enough to wear my coat under it. I don't really use the suspenders; I tossed them down the legs. I like the zippers; I can take them on and off without removing my boots. One of the snaps broke on the stirrups, but the elastic and Velcro keeps the legs snug and in place anyway.
I like that there is a Velcro close cargo pocket on the pants, and love the corduroy collar, soft!

Great Suit :-)
Spent 6 hours out in cold, rainy, windy parking lot as part of motorcycle course (as a rider). Wore this suit over 2 layers and stayed warm and dry the entire time. Suspenders keep the slack out of the pants - and along with the stirrup loops keep the pants in place and comfortable. Haven't had the need to ride with it at highway speeds, but it has already paid for itself by keeping me comfortable for one miserable day.

First off, it was nice having choices of color. I ordered the blue to match my bike. The jacket, (large) though was a little bit snug, even fit over my multi-layer cold weather jacket, also a large. I think the x-large would have been too big. My wife really liked the colors and styling. I have not had the chance to test in the rain but judging from the rest of the reviews it will perform just fine. A very nice suit for the money, very happy with my purchase.

True to size
Maybe it depends on the size, but the medium I ordered (I'm 5'10", 165 lbs.) fits well over my chaps and padded cruiser jacket without being too loose. I haven't been caught in a drencher yet, but it does well in light rain.

Very, Very Good...
I remember when I was looking to buy rain gear for a ride to the Canadian Rockies, and what I needed most was to read a review that gave me some idea of how to know which size to buy... I'm around 185lbs, 5' 9" tall and wear medium almost everything... I bought one size up, large, on this rain gear and it fit perfectly over my leather jacket and leather pants... My wife, who usually buys extra small, also bought one size up and hers fit perfectly over her leather also... Great gear at a great price... Highly recommend...

Stands up to Floridian downpours!
Plain and simple, this suit keeps you dry! Not only that, the jacket makes for a comfortable fit. I ordered a XL to fit over my medium Fieldsheer Corsair jacket. It's perfect! The only annoying part is the Velcro getting stuck to the mesh interior of the jacket.

Not a bad rain suit for the money. It's a little snug and I should have ordered one size up (really two sizes up from your regular size). Overall, though, I'm pleased with the quality and the protection it provides.

Not Too Shabby
I bought this as a quasi-inexpensive solution to getting wet. Got the yellow/black for added visibility. Jacket sizing is pretty good (I wear a 38R suit jacket, and the Large fits great over a bulky leather jacket), but I have longer legs, and the pants are about an inch too short. Had to get some boot covers to make up the difference. Still, material quality seems to be good, and I haven't gotten wet yet (though the outfit isn't particularly breathable). I'd buy this again.

I wore this suit in all the elements and it did a fantastic job. Snow, Rain and Cold. Cons: fits a bit snug. I am 6' and 175 pounds ordered a large, x-large would have been a better fit.

100% Waterproof
2 days after purchasing this rainsuit, I got my chance to test it out. A freak deluge - pounding rain, winds gusting the rain sideways, I was actually excited to get out and ride so I could test out my new suit. I was skeptical about the "100% Waterproof" claim, because of the inexpensive price, but I was delightfully surprised. I rode for about 20 minutes and when I got home, my clothes were totally dry. I even, purposely, rode through large puddles to get the water to splash up on & under my legs and none of the water got through. I bought a Large so I could wear the suit over my normal riding gear & the fit is very good. I ride year 'round, and I'm expecting a lot out of the Fieldsheer Rainsuit, but I think it will live up to those expectations.

Great suit for the money
I used it a couple of times on a 600 mile ride. The first day i was in Torrential downpours the suit kept the rain out except for what came in through the neck I was soaked all the way down to my pants. Had I been wearing a full face helmet this most likely wouldn't have been an issue. In the non hurricane conditions it works perfectly!

This is an excellent rain suit for the money. My wife is short so the small pants are a bit long. The quality is good and better than most suits I have seen. I have already tested the waterproofing and the suit held up nicely. I have recommended this suit to friends. If you need a rain suit this is a great deal.

Better than expected. I ride daily to work rain or shine. This suit has performed flawlessly. I went one size up to fit over my leathers and it fits great. The lining keeps it from sticking to your skin on warmer days. Venting is OK but could be better. I purchased the hi-vis orange and it really can be seen in fog and rain. I've had others and they were not near as durable as the Fieldsheer. Only change I would make is putting velcro at the cuff on the sleeves. They tend to ride up at higher speeds. For the price, this is a great rainsuit.

This is a really nice rain suit for the price. Lots of features and looks nice and also looks comfortable for all day wear. I cannot figure out the sizing. I normally wear a 4X. I ordered a 5X to go over my leather jacket. If you wear an XL or 2XL maybe the 5X will fit you. I cannot zip up the jacket even over a t-shirt.

I only had the rain suit for a month and luckily haven't worn it in the rain but it is a great wind jacket. You might want to go 1 size larger for men. Very nice suit for the money I just wish it had Velcro on the wrist instead of elastic.

600 miles in the rain, Lexas was there the whole way.
Being prepared is always half the battle. I was doing a 4000 mile run to NYC and back to Texas and I needed something compact to keep me dry (I like the compact storage). This looked like the best cost for what I needed. On the way back I got stuck in the rain of September 2009 that hit the south east USA. My route was Texas to St Louis MO then NYC, then back to Austin Texas via Memphis TN. Well to say the least it started raining in Maryland and did not stop until Memphis TN. I stayed "Dry" in this 2 piece Very dry near the end my leather was a little damp but I am sure that was to be expected. I wear Leather Tour Master large Jacket and pants and the 2XL Lexan 2 piece was a great fit over this suit. I am 5'10 250 lb range. I also used it driving at night when temp went down. Super wind Breaker. Apart from the Leather Suit I also had a 2 liter Hydration Pack.....Lots of room. The Orange is very bright and in the rain kept the 18 wheelers away.
I arrived home to my Wife and kids to tell the tail.

A very nice rainsuit for the price
I used this suit several times on a 4500 mile trip to Sturgis and this is what I have noticed; order at least 2-3 sizes larger than normal, the cuffs around the wrists are loose and non adjustable. On the positive side; it packs very small, appears to be well made, the suede collar with velcro adjustment great, looks nice and kept me dry. I never had to ride through a terrible storm with this suit yet but I believe it will do fine. Great price too for such a nice suit, cheaper than Frogg Toggs and looks/performs/feels better. I would buy again.

Great Rainsuit, Great Features, Great Price!
I got to test this out the first weekend I had it on a 910 mile trip. It rained for a couple hours straight during a leg of our trip and this suit kept me perfectly dry and comfortable. The elastic around the midsection kept it from ballooning up while riding, staying close fitting and comfortable even at speeds up to 80 mph (and certainly higher too, although that is as fast as I rode with it on). I did not notice any water get past the suit, and I was wearing it over a Tourmaster Intake Air Jacket size XL with a Knox Gilet Air chest and back protector underneath. This rain suit was a XXXL size, and fit comfortably, with a little extra wiggle room to spare. Just enough that I could add an extra layer underneath if need be, but not loose or sloppy by any means. I am 5'10 and 230lbs size 40 waist and it fits me perfectly over full riding gear. Works great, fits great. Only knocked it a point on fit because of the odd sizing from every other manufacturers sizes. Once you get the right size for you it fits great. Would buy it again myself, and recommend it without reservation.

I ride as much as possible rain or shine. I bought this set as the leathers just didn't cut it anymore. I bought a large and the pants and jacket fit perfect over my riding gear! (I wear a 42 jacket) Comfortable and keep you dry. Easy to pack when not using them. I am able to fit the pants and jacket in 2 large ziplock bags and keep them in my saddlebags until the next storm. Good quality for the money.

Absolutely great rain suit. Inexpensive but very high quality and has kept me dry. The jacket fits over my regular riding jacket, no flapping. Very impressive. Folded up they fit right in my gas tank bag...with room to spare for the everyday items that you use it for anyway, the stuff you pull out of your pockets before you start your ride.

I had a chance to test this rain suit when traveling to N.C. several weeks ago. Riding 700 miles in the rain (one day going and one day coming back) this rain suit was great! Completely dry at the end of the ride both days. As it was not hot out I cannot say how it would be if the temperature was higher. With a mesh jacket and pants I was most comfortable. For myself this was a very good purchase. (Although the silver color appears a greenish cast!)

Thank God I bought this. I went to the Hells Canyon MC Rally in Eastern Oregon 12th-15th June and it was raining the whole time (well almost). This rainsuit kept me totally dry and warm the whole trip.
Probably the best buy I did in a long time. Not only was it working perfectly, it didn't cost much, it fits well and looks nice. What else can you possibly ask for?

I bought this rain suit as an insurance against rain on the 1600 mile road trip I was taking. I ended up using the suit on the last 2 days of the trip. This rain suit was easy to get on over my leather jacket and chaps. The elastics were snug and didn't allow any rain under them. My only regret is not getting the boot and glove covers. I would recommend this rain suit. The rain suit does run a little small, so if you plan on putting it over you leather jacket you need to go at least one size up.

My wife and I recently replaced the old vinyl, heavy rain gear for the Fieldsheers. They seemed to work out fine the one time we had to wear them. The take only about half the space as the old ones, and, kept us much dryer.

I read the reviews before ordering. good thing because the sizing is whacked!! Be sure to order 2 sizes larger than your actual size. The suit itself is well worth the money. I’ve rode 1000 miles or so in rain in it so far with very little leakage. The stirrup snaps broke right away. Buy one.... you'll be glad you did.

The fit was true to size and the finish was very good. I cannot speak to it durability as I have not used it yet. The suspenders are a nice feature, and the price was fair. They roll up tight and can be stored in your saddlebag without taking up a lot of space.

Bought for long distance trip. Used several times during heavy and light downpour and stayed completely dry. Mine was a bit large because it's fitted for men but my husband’s fit well. Did not melt against pipes, zippers held up well.

A good value
I got this on sale here, and for the money this was a huge bargain with lots of value. I've used it 3-4 times now and rain has not been an issue. The whole thing packs up small enough to fit in my tank bag. I've even used it on a night ride where my and pants were leaving me a bit cold and this broke the wind nicely even though it has no thermal qualities. The one complaint I would have is that I wish there were a drawstring or a velcro strap around the waist and cuffs. The elastic woks well, but I'd really like to tighten it down. That’s a small complaint and would probably make the thing more expensive. Sizing is in line with what I usually wear. 6'2" 200 lbs I took an xl and it does fit over a jacket w/armor. I committed to riding to work every day this spring/summer, rain or shine and this gear is going to make (and is already making) that promise a reality.

A good buy in Non-Breathable
This rainsuit is a high quality and well tailored suit. Color combinations will allow you to stand out in bad weather while still being tastefully done. Nice features include zippered legs for getting in and out without taking your boots off and elastic at the waist so it isn't blowing around. Order the same suit size as your jacket and you will get a close fit that is still comfortable. If you want extra room order one size larger than your jacket and pants. Suit also offers excellent wind protection if the weather turns cold. You will not be disappointed.

Size does run a little small if you’re going to dress for the cold underneath so up size a notch, or even two. Definitely keeps the rain off, even in heavy downpours. I would definitely recommend this product!

sizing needs to be better described
I normally take a 3x in jackets and pants and have plenty of comfort. The sizing of this item was way off. I would need a 5x for sure. The material and finish are very good.

Good enough
Used this suit on a recent Nova Scotia trip. Size small allows for plenty of clothing underneath, wife and myself are 5'4" ish normal build. No leaks in everything from a sprinkle to a short downpour during which we almost stopped due to visibility. Ventilation is minimal which kept us hot during non rainy periods. Short leg zippers and boot straps seem a little flimsy otherwise good construction.

I've already used the suit a couple of times. It keeps me dry, what more can I say. The venting helps, but I still get hot wearing the rain suit. Even though I ordered a size larger to go over my jacket, the collar fits snugly enough that I don't bother with the hood. Great suit for the money.
