Chris Goldstein Anacortes,  WA Great rainsuit! This was worth every penny! I live in Washington State, the official home of the rain storm, and I've had the opportunity to ride in torrential downpours with this suit. I arrived bone dry and pretty warm (at temps in the 40's). Great fit, great features (stirrups / helmet hood / suspenders / etc.).

Larkin Dripping Springs,  TX Rain suit, Tour master Defender It looked like a planned W/E trip to Bandera and the 3 Sisters would catch some rain so I bought this suit to stuff in the saddle bags. Good thing since it rained on/off on the last day all the way home. I stayed dry the entire time. Suit was easy to put on over my normal clothing and jacket, and kept me dry. It didn't vent as much as I hoped but none of them really do, so got a little warm, no big deal. Well worth it, well made.

Tom Eaton Tallahassee,  FL Tourmaster Defender 2-piece Rainsuit I have only had occasion once put the rainsuit to the test, and that was intentionally. Having bought it for a trip on which it didn't rain, I wanted to see what it was capable of. A violent thunderstorm blew up recently, and I donned the suit and headed for the heaviest rain on a lightly used road. I was able to ride for around 5 mins in extremely heavy rain. Another 10 minutes or so was in lighter rain. When I got home, I was dry save for my boots and two patches of wet on my chest where the rain had entered around the collar. I consider that excellent in light of our Florida downpours. A durability rating is premature but everything seems well constructed so far.

Ray La Luz,  NM Better Than Expected We had to travel about 40 miles to our campsite and 39 of them were in rain, hail and wind. No leakage, warm, and overall better than I expected. It felt even more comfortable riding knowing we had the reflective striping on the suits. Recommend this great buy for everyone that rides.

Michael Nanaimo,  BC Tour Master Defender 2 piece rainsuit Well, you get what you pay for - this is an adequate rain suit - the jacket is great - I have worn mine just to keep warm when I forgot my regular jacket liner. The pants are OK, but why do they make pants for guys with short legs?? A couple inches more vinyl would turn these into a great value.

Wil Philadelphia,  PA Tour Master - Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit Highly recommended. Comfort and fit are great. Pants slide easy over my military style boots. Reflective pipe on pant is a plus. Ed Sherman Brookline,  NH No need to Defend TM Rainsuit Well, there is NO need to Defend the TM Rainsuit. The fit, quality and value appear to be what I expected, the best possible. I was impressed with this particular model. The yellow color and reflective strips are great -- feel safer already. Fits well over clothing, and range of motion is great for motorcycling -- very comfortable. The collar and cuffs are really well done. Will have a better idea about durability after more use, but all indications are that this is a far better combination of lighter-weight jack and pants than I've had in quite a while. All of my previous 'heavier' rainsuits and bad-weather clothing has been from the UK (Belstaff), and I'm glad to add the TourMaster Defender to my riding resources.

Tom Chicago,  IL Great suit for the money! Used this suit on a trip to Indy for the recent MotoGP and the day we left it rained the WHOLE way down (4 hours). Got to my location and only my hands and feet were wet and I was impressed!! Plus, it really provides good wind protection. Quality and fit are higher than expected for the price range. Donn Weyburn,  SK Easy to Put On Ordered the same size as my Tourmaster jacket and it is sized perfectly to fit over motorcycle apparel. It is very easy to put on-doesn't stick on the arms and shoulders like my old vinyl rain suit did. Also, the knitted hood doesn't make your head sweat under the helmet like a vinyl hood does, but still keeps the rain from going down your neck. Keeps the rain out and is a good visible color. Didn't comment on durability as have only had them for a few weeks.

Ted Nicholson Harwich,  MA Pretty good for the price. I just rode several hundred miles through NY using this gear. For the price, it was great. The pants kept me dry, except for the bottom, where I guess I should have bought gaiters. I still got wet on the top, but nowhere near what I would have gotten without the suit. I would have rated the durability higher, but one of the snaps on the stirrups broke on the second use, so that cost them a point. It would also have been better for me to be able to size an outfit with different pants and jacket sizes.

Paul Mitchel Millbury,  MA Tour Master Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit After looking around a various rainsuits, I decided on the Tour Master Defender and am glad I did so. It rains every year at Laconia NH and this year, more than ever, but I was prepared. The jacket closes up nice and tight due to the velcro, the neck and cuffs also fit very snug and it kept me dry during heavy downpours. The pants were a breeze to put on as the foot openings are big and easy to get through and once again, I was completely dry. When you look around, you really can't beat this suit for its protection, styling and price. Great product!

Bryan Gorak Morton Grove,  IL Compact & Light It is very compact when packed. It comes with a storage bag. Light and breathable for hot days. Keeps you dry with no leakage. I got mine on sale and it was a great buy, although a little more than the plastic/vinyl suits. The two piece option is great when wearing over a racing suit. Size chart is accurate for an "over wear" garment/jacket. The jacket has reflective materials for visibility and is very comfortable. Drawstrings for tight fit. It is a great product & is not ugly.

Mickey Detroit,  MI Leaks at the zipper... I finally had a use for the rain gear towards the end of an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 ride, rained for the last 250 miles. In a heavy downpour at 70 MPH, the zipper leaked and I got wet. :( The straps at the wrist were also kind of difficult to adjust so I got leaks there too. Otherwise, the gear seemed to be made well, fit well, pants were watertight. Good for money, I just think I asked for too much with as wet as it was and as fast as I was going.

Hollywood Trumbull,  CT Tour Master - Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit A very good product for the money. Fit and finish were good, along with ability to keep you dry. Drove through torrential downpours in Laconia and was kept dry to the bone! Plenty of pockets & nice features. As attractive as rain gain could be. Negative might be durability. First time wearing it I noticed a small "tear" / "burn" on my lower right leg which either caught on something or touched the exhaust. Again, "for the money" a pretty good deal. Just not sure how well it would hold up under heavy, consistent use.

DannyS Wichita,  KS Tour Master Defender Two Piece Rainsuit I have looked at these before but this price was too good to pass up. The sizes in the stores were always too large anyway. I went by the size chart and trusted to Tour Master to know the right size. They said the suit would fit over my cloths and they did perfectly. I rode through a KS Rainstorm with plenty of wind and rain and the only time I got wet was when I stopped at a light and my face got wet. I keep the suit in the bottom of my trunk it is very small when folded and stuffed into the bag they provide. I now can ignore the weather and just ride. If it rains I can pull over and put it on. Some other rain suits even from Tour Master are probably stronger but for no more than I will wear it this suit, it suits me fine.

Richard Desrosiers Victoria,  BC The best for the price It is exactly what it is supposed to be: waterproof. It is highly visible night or day; it does not allow the chilly wind to go through; and the hood earns an extra point for the comfort of riding under the rain without water sneaking into your neck. So easy to put on and take off and store. When I showed up at the dealership here in Victoria, they liked it so much they want to sell it in their apparel section. I am going to buy another one for my wife.

Joseph Daniels Milton,  DE Tour Master-Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit Have used the suit twice and was very impressed with it the first time. I neatly folded it back in the bag it came with-it. When I tried to use it the second time the zipper would not open and was stuck half up and half down with both top and bottom hanging open. I had to ride home so took off the slide and only used the velcro as a fastner to come home in a down pour. It kept me dry but I think it will fail in the future.

Charlie Tullahoma,  TN Disappointed My older Tour Master rainsuit lasted several years. Wore it in some real downpours and it it NEVER leaked. Replaced it with this suit. On the first wearing a zipper pull came off the pants. They were replaced. I did not wear the replacements for some time because I wasn't out in the rain, that is until last weekend. The new pants leak (in the worst place) the crotch. I emailed TourMaster about these pants and the problems I've had. They want me to return them shipped at my expense for them to evaluate and decide whether or not to replace or repair - these may take 2 - 4 weeks during which time I won't have rain pants. Well, think I'll just try to seal em myself and next purchase will be another brand.

Paul Swanson Bartlett,  TN Tour Master Rainsuit This rain suit is absolutely amazing! I stay totally dry in the rain; it fits great and is easy to get out of when I gear down. I especially like the zippered area on the pants. Allows me to put them on and take them off without removing my boots. The main zipper and velcro really help to keep out the rain. Breaks down into a very small package that fits easily into my saddle bag. All in all, this is a great suit!

Dan Eaton Rapids,  MI Good Stuff I picked up a Goldwing a week ago and bought this raingear because I knew there was no way I was going to ride from Seattle to Lansing, MI and not get rain. I wore it over my Gerbing's heated gear the entire trip and I stayed warm and dry through rain, snow and fog. My only complaint is the collar was a tad uncomfortable but the fit was great over the gear. Just for reference, I'm 6', 210 lbs and I ordered the XL...PERFECT. I ordered the red and I think the color really stands out.

I put a 3 down for durability because I've only had the gear for a month and I don't know how well it will hold up. It seems solid. Howard Carter Sterlington,  LA Great Product for those wanting to stay nice and dry. This Rain suit is very well thought out and has many features that you will appreciate when wearing gloves and trying to get your gear on before the deluge. One thing I would like to see added would be more reflective surfaces. The jacket has reflective piping and the pants have a strip on each leg but wider stripes and more would make the suit more visible in bad conditions. Great Product!

Christine Arvada,  CO Tour Master rainsuit doubles as windbreaker this 2 piece suit is great. I ordered a small since I am 5'7" female. It fit perfectly. I haven't worn it for rain yet but worn it as a windbreaker and I stayed pretty warm. The straps can unhook but will always be attached to the pants. The neck velcro does scratch when fastened but not when worn loosely. The jacket pocket's velcro is difficult. It was a struggle to open the pockets. The pockets are deep. There are no side openings to reach the undergarmets. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Carlos V. Orraca Chesapeake,  VA Blending in with the Bumblebees... Just received this item and tried on for the very first time. Since I have to wear it over my existing armor bike jacket, I was amazed at how well it fit over my armor jacket. Having to put the rain top on was somewhat of a chore while wearing my bike jacket, but figured out how to put the rain top on the jacket before putting the entire ensemble on myself, and that works good. The pants fit perfect on me. I am 5' 7", and size Medium works great over the armored bike jacket and any type of pants you wear underneath. I rode with it on and it works awesome for the cold wind. Will try it out when it rains, but its excellent for the winter and for commuting to and from to work. Just allow yourself some time to put it all on before you head out to wherever your destination is. Excellent price range for this item, Highly recommended for new bike riders as well.

Sal M. Binghamton,  NY Tour Master Defender Two-piece Rainsuit Yellow I've only used the suit a few times and it provides good wind and rain protection. The yellow color stands out in the day and night time and the reflective piping really shows up quite well at night. Great looking jacket overall. The two problems I've encountered with the jacket are: -The zipper is problematic to get started. It's small, so the teeth make it difficult to engage and pull up. Make the zipper bigger, and avoid the problem of snagged teeth. -The other problem is the left side drawstring at the bottom of the jacket came out of the eyelet after the second or third use, and just hangs there. This can be dangerous because the string is long enough to get snagged in the bike's moving parts while riding. I'm In the process of exchanging the jacket/suit

Laredo Albuquerque,  NM Tour Master - Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit I've had the suit for a while now, and overall it's not that bad. I purchased it for the rain and you guessed it I have not ran into any rain since the purchase. I purchased a large and it fits over my gear. But if you go to the Tour master web site it states that this for like 35 degree weather but not really I'm at 5000 feet in the air and this time of year it’s pretty cool in the morning. And I would think if it got much cooler here that it would not be adequate. The Velcro does like to catch on everything and the neck Velcro tends to scratch my neck somewhat. But for the price a good deal.

Robert Nordmeyer Marysville,  WA TM Defender 2PC rainsuit I got a size medium, fits perfectly over my leathers. I'm 5'9" 175 Lbs, average build. I like the look, jacket very visible on dreary days. Quality seems good for occasional wear, but I'd get a heavier, more expensive suit for extended touring in the rain or frequent use. Stows easily in a medium size saddlebag, does great in light rain or to cut the wind on cold days, haven’t used in a real soaker yet.

Scott Baker Hampton,  VA TourMaster Defender Rainsuit I had the opportunity to put this item to the test in a torrential downpour while riding thru Kansas. The storm lasted for about 30 minutes and the only thing that got wet was the front of my shirt due to water dripping off of my chin. A great product for the price considering my other brand name raingear cost my nearly $300.00. Thanks Tourmaster!

bob sicklerville,  NJ Very Good Rain Gear! Wanted to try raingear before writing a review, so I waited for the remnants of hurricane Hanna, had some good downpours, What a Test, I loved it. Albert Hickory,  NC Rain suit The sizing for this suit is very confusing especially the pants. The relaxed size is the only thing I would pay attention to. The extended size is only for the waist ban. The rest of the pant does not expand which makes it hard for a big guy or gal to get on and off. The jacket is properly sized and fits well. This rain suit is great if you are a smaller sized person. Bigger men and women should step up to the next level and buy the jacket and pants separately. It does keep the rain out and the under helmet hood is really nice.

Barbara P. Middletown,  NJ Tour Master 2-Piece Rainsuit As a novice rider I needed a rain-suit for class and riding. This was perfect - jacket fits great, love the pockets and tapered fit. Pants are a little long, but that's to be expected. Good value for the money.

B. Ruby Oak Harbor,  WA Nice but could be better The jacket fits nicely over my leather jacket and the pants have ample room in the legs for armored pants. If I could change one thing about this rain suit, I would make the pant cuffs larger to be easier to slip on over boots, (especially boots that were already wet because I didn't plan ahead.) My friends tell me I am quite visible with it on, but, from the picture, it looks as though the white parts are completely retro-reflective. However, in reality, there is only thin reflective piping between the yellow/black parts and the large white stripe. All in all, it's a nice rain suit for the money with few quirks.

TOM PANNELL Moyock,  NC Tour Master - Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit This suit is very lightweight, but effective and comfortable. The jacket is cool, rainproof and easy to put on. You need to be pretty agile to put on the pants which have a really tight fitting waist and cuffs, but once on they do a great job. I got the yellow jacket which has excellent day and night visibility. Both jacket and pants have really good watertight closures with snaps and velcro final fastenings.

David Stonington,  CT Defender Two-Piece Rainsuit - great buy! We purchased two of these suits before heading off on a road trip and they paid for themselves on the second day -- a full day of riding in torrential rains. The features on these suits are numerous -- soft lining on the collar; secure closures at the wrists and ankles; abundant reflective trim; suspenders on the pants. I removed the pant leg stirrups as they always seem to catch on a foot peg at the most inopportune time. Only complaint -- the jacket would benefit from a waist belt to stop ballooning at high speeds.

Albert Williams Hickory ,  NC Defender rain suit Sizing is a real problem for this suit. It became very clear to me after ordering this suit from two different places and getting a different size jacket and pants. I am a big guy and the pants in a 3X are like a XL in most all other things. The jacket is a great fit, looks to be very well put together and stylish. I would recommend this for smaller folks but for us larger people, well step up to the next level and get the jacket and get you pants separately.

Laura Luxemburg,  WI Tour Master Defender Two Piece Rainsuit The rain suit held up VERY well, and I had to use it in some heavy rain. I rode over 100 miles in the rain and only the bottoms of my pants were wet from the rain going up my boots. The only thing I didn't like was that the hood is only a thin piece of stretch nylon/poly to go under a helmet. It would be better if it was made of the suit material and fit over the helmet. The suit does not have the patches on the legs to prevent damage from the bikes pipes, but I did not have any problem with that either. And once I told my friends the price, they were impressed by it as well.

Joel Toronto,  ON Would highly recommend I bought this suit for a trip I was taking from Toronto to Ottawa. On the last day it rained a good portion of the ride. Suit fit great, even over riding jacket, and did exactly what it was supposed to do, kept me dry. One of the snaps on the stirrup for the bottom of the pant leg broke the first time I put it on. I was going to get them sewn on permanently anyways. Besides that it seems well made.

Duane Howard City,  MI Dry in most conditions I've used it in light to moderate conditions with excellent results. Everything covered was dry. One ride took me through 3 hours of heavy sustained down poor. The result wasn't as good. Water came through the seat of the pants in enough quantity to dampen my pants but not enough to be squishy. During that same storm water also infiltrated the seems of the jacket sleeves up to the elbow. But not enough to soak all the way thru my leather jacket. I would buy this suit again. Overall it’s the best in 30+ years of riding.

Mike Howard Mabelvale,  AR Defender two piece rainsuit The benefits of this suit versus its cost are what drew me to it. Comfortable to wear and relatively easy to get on. I like it that the pants have the suspenders type support to prevent ride down. Only thing is that I gave it a 4 for features instead of a 5 was because I wish that either the pants or the coat had a couple of pockets, but for this price, I will live with that! The color is nice and bright....I got the red and white one....and the reflectors seem to be sufficient. Wish the pants came in red, but alas, only black. Overall, a very good suit for its price...for me it replaces a yellow...very hot...suit from Wal-Mart that was about $30. I have some gaiters that cover my boots and that makes the entire setup...with the rubber gloves...entirely waterproof!

Keith Woodstock,  GA How dry are they? I was very reluctant to spend so much on a rain suit when there are $20 suits out there. If you might have to ride all day in the rain, this is an awesome suit. It's very comfortable and it lets air circulate keeping the humidity low. It folds up and fits into an included pouch. Don't scrimp on a rain suit. It will mean the difference between a great ride in the rain or a miserable ordeal. It doesn't make you look like the Michelin man either.

Colin Washington,  DC only worn the pants so far I've never had any other rain gear to compare with, so keep that in mind. I wear about a 30-30 in pants and I easily fit into the small size. I wouldn't say they are too big, but they are spacious. They go on pretty easy and I get my shoes/boots through them as well as can be expected with boots. Worn them in rain and snow a number of times and have kept me bone-dry and easy to peal off at the destination.

Mike Christenson Boerne,  TX Jacket's great, pants aren't I've been riding for transportation as well as for fun for 50 years. Tour Master has always made good apparel with features riders need. The Defender rainsuit jacket is no exception. The pants are another story. They say they're sized to go over riding gear, but they're too small to easily go over riding pants. They aren't lined with a material that boot soles can slide into easily. And the bellowed leg opening at the bottom is way too short and too small to allow riding boots to go through easily. The pants are the first item you put on. When sitting on the side of the road with the rain starting to come down, the last thing you need is to be fighting with a pair of rain pants that are difficult to get on.

The pants have suspenders which keep them up allowing the waist to be loose enough for regular pants for comfort. The jacket is large enough to go over my protective jacket I wear plus the red is bright to see at night. I also found the suit insulates from the cold when I rode to work in 40 degree temperatures. The overall fit is great except I found it hard to get things out of your pants inside and there weren't many pockets on the rainsuit but for the cost I highly recommend.

Dustin Sac,  CA da BOMB Cheap, but not cheaply made. These get the job done and will help with the warmth on those wet, morning rides. They have straps on the bottom to go underneath your shoes as well as suspenders. Together, these bottoms make sure not to let your pants get wet.

Thad Grosse Pointe,  Nova Scoti Great Value! I bought this suit just before going down to Asheville, NC a few weeks ago and got baptized on the way back...three hours of continuous rain, and not a drop of leakage, and that's without the use of the attached under-the-helmet hood. The collar is especially comfortable with that micro-fiber lining, as are the cuffs. Other things I liked: Fits easily over my gear; good air-flow inside the coat with no moisture buildup; elastic drawstring w/ cordlock at bottom of coat keeps tight fit; works we

James TAMPA,  FL Defender 2-piece Rainsuit An excellent rain suit for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a decent suit that packs small and works well. Also it works well if the temps drop a bit and you didn’t bring any other outer wear.

Al Walker Dumfries,  Nova Scoti Defender 2-piece Rainsuit Great suit. Convenient to keep on the bike at all times. I'm buying a second for my other bike. Easy to put on, really works well. Very good quality. My co-worker bought another brand for about 20 bucks less. All I can say is you get what you pay for.

Grover Sharp Sykesville,  IL Defender Rainsuit. I really haven't had an opportunity to try it out in the rain yet. I'm not real crazy about riding in the rain but I'm going to Kansas City to visit my son in a few weeks and wanted a good quality but not overly expensive rain suit. But I absolutely did not want PVC . This suit is great looking and I really like the reflective quality. I got yellow color to help be seen during daylight hours. I'm 6' and weigh about 230, the Extra Large fits very well. I wouldn't go higher or lower. For the pri

Pam Belton,  OH Defender 2-piece Rainsuit This a really nice rainsuit. Looks and fits well. The only negative is that it does not have muffler protectant material on the inside of the right leg. Not that big of a problem as you can sew one on yourself. Very good quality material for the price!

Weisa OKC,  NJ Defender 2-piece rainsuit My husband and I each bought one and we are very pleased with the design, quality, and most of all, the price. This is a high quality product for a very low price. We are planning a road trip soon and they will come in very handy. They fold down to the small pouch easily which is included. This will be very important during a long road trip. I highly recommend this rain suit.

Iris San Francisco,  CA Rain suit I bought this as a gift for myself and it rained 2 days after arriving. Its wide enough in the seat and comfortable. Most importantly, it fits and makes me visible to motorists while keeping me dry. Excellent value.

Becky Mestayer Sulphur,  CA Defender 2-Piece Rainsuit The rain suit was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he was thrilled with it. He hasn't road tested it yet, but did try it on. Russ Stilwell West Haven,  IL Defender 2 Piece rainsuit While I haven't worn it on my bike yet, I have worn the jacket and it seems like a fine piece of equipment. I like the way all the seams are finished and the construction looks unbeatable. It may run a little small so think about that. All in all I think it’s a great suit. Worth every penny!
