Art Crane Sherman,  CT Good jacket-served my purposes I spent a lot of time evaluating jackets before picking this one and I'm not disappointed, especially for the money. My main goals were cutting wind and getting armor. Don't ride in rain much, so that feature wasn't important. Jacket is made well, fits well, and I think, is good looking. Minor observations....the armor does move around a lot and it's a bit awkward to get the snaps fastened to hold it in place when the jacket's on. I think the pockets are very limited compared to more expensive jackets. When you unzip the sleeves and take off the jacket, the Velcro closures always reattach so when you want to put the jacket on again, you have to open the Velcro. Biggest annoyance is the minimal liner which attaches in a limited fashion and therefore rides in or out of your sleeves with your arms and gets jumbled up when you take the jacket off. But despite these things, I really do like the jacket very much overall.

Monica Two Harbors,  MN Like it! I wear a women's size 16, but had to order a men's extra-large to get this to fit. Seems odd they run that small. I like this jacket a lot, but wish I could get a warmer liner, since I live in northern Minnesota. However, it seems to keep me warm when it's cool and cool when it's warmer outside. First motorcycle jacket I've ever owned, so it's hard for me to compare, but I'd sure recommend this one to anyone else. Just order bigger!

Paul Interlachen,  FL order a size larger I ordered a small size 40. I'm 5'11" 140lbs with a 38 inch chest and 31 inch waist. In other words, I am freaking skinny! I had to send it back because it was too tight. I mean it felt like I could pop the stitching. If you are tall and skinny then order the 42 medium. The jacket looks well made and it's decent looking. Maybe if I had ordered a medium, it would have been more comfortable to wear.

Michael Stevens Peoria,  AZ Great jacket but a little short... Great jacket. Looks good. Feels good. I like the double snaps on the forearms and biceps. My first complaint would be about the build of the liner. I got the jacket, took it out of its plastic wrapper, and removed the lining only to see one of the snaps on the arms fall off. My only other complaint is it seems a little short in the torso. My first jacket was a Joe Rocket Phoenix v5 and it's easily 2" longer in the waist. I guess it's not made so much for taller people.

Kerry Tallahassee,  FL Fieldsheer - High Flow Mesh Jacket This jacket has been comfortable while commuting in town during the summer with temps up to 90. The jacket is nice looking and very comfortable. The sizing runs small on the jacket. If you plan on wearing a fleece or other windbreaker underneath for colder weather, then get a size larger than you would normally request. This was a good bargain.

Wayne Eaton Kernersville,  NC High Flow Mesh Jacket This jacket was as niece as the other reviews stated. I carefully took out my lining as soon as I received it and hung it in my closet for later use when the temperatures start cooling down. The jacket breaths very well in 70-80 deg. weather. It fit perfect and felt good while riding my old BMW. The armor does move around some but is tolerable. Also if someone is to buy this jacket, it is a must to get one size up from what normally is worn. I went by the reviews and they all were correct about the seizing. I highly recommend this jacket.

Mark Knopp Greenfield,  IN Fieldsheer - High Flow Mesh Excellent product, Sizing follows typical MC Jackets, slightly small compared to street clothes. Excellent airflow and decreased wind resistance. Armor molds quickly to body. Jacket feels heavy, but airflow is like you are wearing no jacket at all, great in hot weather.

Joseph San Jose,  CA Good jacket overall Compared to my First Gear mesh jacket, this Fieldsheer has a much better back protection, more air flow, longer back, and better fit. But the shoulder armors are smaller, stiffer, and don't settle in place. It's ok to wear this jacket for a few hot weeks out of a year but I wouldn't wear it year-round due to minimal protection (when compared to leathers).

Haymore Kurtistown,  HI Excellent My daughter and wife each bought a Fieldsheer jacket in 2005. My wife now has 25,000 miles on hers now and it is still in good shape. Impressed I bought one as close to it as was available. It is a great jacket for warm weather and should be pretty good when it gets cooler due to the liner. I like the armor and the comfy fit. I got an X-large instead of my normal large and am happy I did so cause it fits very well.
