Terry Cederblom Oakhurst,  CA HJC CL Max Evolve Helmet The helmet is a little tight but does not bother me even after several hours. I believe it will break in real nice. I love the helmet. It is cool looking, a lot more quiet than my old modular, and keeps the wind out a lot better than my old helmet. Overall, I am very happy with this helmet.

Mary Denver,  CO Great Helmet This is my first full face helmet and it is great. It is hard to find a good modular helmet at this price. The helmet fits good and is very comfortable. The ventilation is great. The only thing that I would do is think about paying extra for the model that has the sun visor. My husband got that helmet and loves it!

Dale Bpatman Nampa,  ID HJC review I have had the helmet a month and so far it is working fine. The finish is good and the release works well. The fit is one of the best I have used so far. I have a round face and it fit me well. There is some wind noise but that is to be expected with the chin area not having foam in it. I would rate this helmet a good buy.

Jeffrey Fort Lauderdale,  FL Good Value for First Helmet I bought this helmet because I wear glasses, but even with a modulating helmet, it takes a bit of care putting them on due to somewhat of a squeeze to the frame of the glasses. Upon checking the helmet when it first arrived I noticed that one of the rear vent holes wasn't completely drilled through the EPS liner, but it wasn't a major problem and was a quick fix. The design of the shell is very nice and kind of masks that it’s a flip-up from a distance. Removing and installing the visor is pretty easy once you get used to the system though. There's a good range of adjustability on the vents though the helmet doesn't vent well when riding at less than 45 MPH. Although I can't compare the noise level to any other helmets, I can say that I really didn't tune into the level of wind noise until I hit around 80 MPH when the windblast started picking up. It fits pretty much true to size.

Jason Burlington,  NC Great Helmet at a Great Price I have bought many styles of helmets over the years and have found that this one by far, exceeds the rest. It is comfortable and doesn't have a lot of wind noise inside. The design of the colors makes this thing stand out on the road, especially at night. Not only are you greatly visible, but you'll turn many heads as well. The quick release button for the chin bar is easy to use with one hand. If your also crafty, a cheap set of headphones can be mounted inside very easily (less than 10 mins) and delivers a professional look to it. Overall, ultimately satisfied and will definitely recommend to all.

Ryan Curtis Farmington,  MN Great Begginer Helmet!!! I really like the modular style! Because I don't have to take my helmet off to talk to someone while riding. It fits and feels very good. Not a major thing, but I think it would be more convenient if it had a quick release chin strap.

Phillip Dalton,  GA great helment I've had this helmet for only a short time and really like it. It's everything that I hoped it would be. Nice fit and finish and love the flip up feature. I only gave it a 4 on durability because I haven't had it long enough to determine its long term durability. Highly recommend it.

Phillip Dalton,  GA VERY GOOD HELMENT Just received my HJC helmet and took off for a test ride. I was very pleased with the performance. Not much wind noise, easy to open and close, and very comfortable. I gave it a 4 on features only because the metal rings for the chin strap seem a little small. Highly recommend this helmet if you are in the market for a modular. Also a big thanks to Chris for his effort to locate this model and get it to me in time for my bday. I plan on using Motorcycle Superstore for future purchases.

John Richardson Albuquerque,  NM Great Helmet, Great Value I couldn't give it a 5 across the board because it is too dang hard to change the visor. I ended up breaking the ratchet on one side. Easy fix. Helmet was a little tight in the cheeks at first but broke in for a great fit. Only complaint was the visor change.

John Federal Way,  WA Great Helmet For Cheap This helmet blows my old one out of the water, will never get a single color helmet again. Helmet sizes fit slightly larger than expected but still works great. If you want a good helmet but don't want to spend $500.00 pick this one up.

Nick Detroit ,  MI Great modular for an unbelievable price I've had the helmet now for a month, and I must say that this helmet has impressed me a lot. To get a modular helmet of this quality for under 200 dollars is almost unbelievable. The fit of the helmet is good, the noise level isn't that big of an issue for me, the only issue I have is the airflow at city speeds i.e. Less than 30-40 mph isn't very good even with all vents open, with that said I am still very pleased with the product and I use this as my main helmet over my icon mainframe full face, which I paid almost 100 dollars more for. I would recommend this helmet for anyone looking for reasonably priced modular.

Bill Pepoon Roseville,  CA A Good Value for a Modular Helmet In the past all the modular helmets I liked (i.e. not a single color) seemed to run $400 or more. But I personally think the HJC CL-Max is just as good, and costs half as much. And the big surprise is that it's actually quieter than my standard helmets. I just assumed that a two-piece helmet would generate more noise. I really like being able to drink a cold soda without removing my helmet. Once you go modular it's hard to go back! The only issue I have is that glasses are a tight fit inside the helmet. I have flexible temples on my glasses and it's still pretty difficult getting them on. Thankfully, I wear my contacts most of the time. But if you wear glasses full-time you might want to try this helmet on first before buying.
