Vincent Nededog Lake Villa,  IL Z1R Open Face Helmet with shield I tried similar helmets at local dealers just to get a feel and fit. Being off season most of the dealers had limited selections due to displaying gear for the winter sports. I've shopped on-line periodically, but always have reserves about doing so. Since I needed a proper helmet for my safety course, I decided to give Motorcycle Superstore a try, which by the way was an over all pleasant experience. The helmet looked and performed as advertised and lived up to the positive reviews which I researched before purchasing. I received compliments about the helmet during the course. Riding moderate wind and temperatures averaging 45 degrees didn't bother me at all. The helmet provided protection and comfort. The flip up/removable shield worked perfectly with zero glare even when the sun finally decided to show and the convenience was the envy of my snap on and shieldless classmates. I experienced zero noise from wind and was able to hear the instructors without a problem even when engine noise was a factor. All this for about $20-$30 cheaper than other brands I found at the dealers. Great product and good service.

Will Ner Berlin,  WI Z1R Ace After tyring on over 20 helmets the Z1R produced a snug fit without being uncomfortable. Around town you can leave the visor up and enjoy the fresh air. Excellent peripheral vision.
