Good value in a helmet
I tried several different helmets before selecting this one. I think these run slightly large, so if you're on the edge between sizes, go with the smaller one. The fit and finish is excellent for the money and the superstore offers great service.

Can't beat it for those hot days
I don't like a full face helmet on hot days like we have here in NM. On those days I prefer a helmet like the HJC-CS-CL2. It fit great right out of the box and with some good eye cover was perfect for cruising when it was in the 90's. I bought another one for my Wife.

HJC CS-2 HELMET
I purchased a helmet for myself and my wife for the summer months thinking that a half helmet would be a little cooler. We have used them several times already and they are cooler to wear, lightweight and comfortable. We are 100% satisfied with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of helmet.

Excellent around-town helmet in HOT weather.
Very happy with helmet. Zip-off portion works well when installed. Comes off easily when needed. Used it last week in 100 degree weather and it was very comfortable. Fits well too. Flat black finish looks nice and seems to be durable.

I need a faceshield
I purchased two of these helmets for my wife and myself. They are great, however I wish I could find faceshields that would work on them also.

CS-2 helmet
I ordered a matching pair of these for me and my wife. I already had 1 I had purchased about 2 years ago that is holding up well but suffers from the normal wear and tear of daily use. I have seen these same helmets at dealerships and they usually sell for about 40%more (My local Yamaha shop had them "On Sale" for an inventory closeout and they were still 25%more expensive and they didn't have a medium that would fit my wife. This is a quality product.

CS-2 Helmet
The service from Motorcycle Superstore was excellent. The helmet seems to be well made but makes me think of the way helmets were made 30 years ago. It is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE helmet I have bought in years. The padding over the foam is very thin and it gives me a headache within an hour. The more I wear the helmet, the better it gets which means the foam is compressing and conforming to my head as I wear it. Eventually, it should become comfortable but it is a pain, literally, while it is

CS-2/ CL-2 HJC Helmet
I rate this helmet five stars. I ride utility ATV's and don't like full size open helmets or full coverage helmets because they feel too restrictive. Prior to purchasing two of these HJC helmets, I wore the Shoei St-Cruz helmet. But I just added another ATV to my collection, so I needed additional helmets for my adult children to wear when they come out to visit. I wear the one of the CS-2's. Excellent Value
Very nice helmet for the money. Just to clarify, with the flat black CS-2, the HJC logo is included with the helmet as a separate decal. You can put it on the helmet or not, your choice. At least that was the case with the CS-2 I ordered and received in August, 2004. BTW, communication and speed of shipment were both excellent!!

Only have had the helmet for a few days, so can't comment much on it, I'll do that after I get some ride time with it. Just writing to let fellow bikers and future buyers know that the flat black does have the HJC logo on the front. This website states it does not have the logo on the flat black. It's not a big deal for me, I'll just slap a sticker on there. And as usual ordering from Motorcycle Superstore was fine.

Bought Again - Enough Said
I was hit in November by an Motorist at 40 mph. My head was the only part of my body to escape undamaged. I replaced this helmet with the same model (once again from Motorcycle Superstore). It was worth every penny - not even a headache from the impact.

Excellent Helmet
Very high quality, light, and comfortable, borrowed one for a few days and was hooked. This has become my primary helmet for tooling around town (still use a full face for interstate/high speed travel). The wind in your face will necessitate the need for goggles or GOOD sunglasses if you don't have a windshield. In addition, this was the lowest price on the internet and it arrived exactly when they said it would.

Worth the extra money
The CL2 is indead a shorty, but it is comfortable and rugged. Unlike a skid-lid, it's an actual helmet that can help protect you. On hot summer days in town, nothing else will do. For the interstate go with the HJC Symax.
