not enough chin
I ordered this helmet in a medium and a large to try and pick the one that fit the best. Both helmets placed the chin guard too close to my face. I have a little bit of an under bite, but I'm no Jay Leno or anything. I've not tried on any other helmet that fit this way.
Other than that it seemed to be made very well.

Vega-Summit ll a complete joke
I have owned many motorcycle helmets in my lifetime, but this helmet is by far the junkiest ever. I've had problems with the flip up mechanism coming loose. The paint has flaked off on the bottom of the helmet. The adhesive let loose that holds the trim on the helmet after about six months. Also the part that holds on the vent close the back flew off on the interstate.

Good for the money
Not quite the finish of my Shoei, but that's not a modular so hard to compare. Good ventilation. A little noisier but of course that is the trade off for better ventilation. I found it easy to change the face shield. There is a nack to getting the flanges engaed properly, but if you study the shape and use a little pressure works quickly. All in all not disappointed.

Vega - Summit II
Cost and Previous satisfaction of a Vega helmet are what convinced me to buy another. The Summit II is very good, but it is the noisiest helmet I have ever worn !!! There are continuous "clicking" noises, (I believe from the top helmet vents), that are extremely annoying and distracting. Also, the top inside padding is not as comfortable as my previous helmet. It tends to hurt my scalp after an hour or so. I do definitely love the improved chin lift button.

Vega Summit II
Shipping time and customer service was horrible, but the helmet looks and feels great. I agree, however, you CAN NOT get this wig on with glasses on.....impossible. Has pockets for your ear mikes....nice. Put my Mic-mutes in within minutes and they were perfectly positioned.

Unbelievably Great!!!
When I opened the box I was amazed at the beautiful finish and styling of the helmet, It looked even better than the picture.
It is so much lighter than other modular helmets I tried on and much less expensive too.
The fit is perfect. When I'm on my bike I barely notice that I'm wearing a helmet, And the visor was so clear I thought I had it up.

1 Month review
This helmet is great. I love the modular lower face shield. The cushioning is quite comfortable, yet my irregularly round head starts to hurt a little after about 2 hours in the saddle. I usually get gas rather often, and a quick removal of the pressure is all I need to keep going. The construction is good and I am overall very satisfied with the purchase. I would recommend this helmet to my friends. Considering the price, this helmet is light and very good quality. A great first helmet and a great purchase.

Unconvincing quality
It's a very attractive helmet, padding looks comfortable, BUT: The front of the helmet is latched with 2 plastic tabs, ½” by ½”, about 1/16” thick. One of these had already broken off in shipment. Looking at the flimsiness of this system I lost all confidence that this helmet would stay closed in the event of an impact to the chinpiece. The helmet feels narrow for its size. I bought it because it's supposed to be easier to put on wearing glasses - I found it impossible with this model. Exchanged for a KBC FFR.

Summit II ColorMatch Helmet
I really like this helmet. For me this is the first full-face helmet that I can wear all day with no discomfort. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the noise level. I do wear earplugs that make a big difference. But it is a bit noisy.

Summit II ColorMatch Helmet
I've not had or tried many helmets, but for sure this is one that I very much like. The workmanship is excellent. I like that you can flip up the front to make it easy to put you glasses on and for drinking without having to completely remove the helmet.
