Good Helmet
This is a nice helmet. I got a good deal on it when I purchased my Yamaha R6 ($200). It fit tightly at first, but now it wiggles from side to side. It could be cuz I have a long head. The seal on the faceplate leaks a little when you turn your head, but then again I drive fast. The adjustable vent on the mouth seems to serve no purpose. The snap open vent on the top creates way too much drag and barely seems to cool off my head. I really like the flip-up feature, but it looks ridiculous when it’s up, and it also makes the helmet look too wide. Over all it seems like a reliable helmet.

KBC FFR Modular Solid Helmet
I bought this one for my wife. She is very happy with it. We did add the chrome face shield and then she doesn't mess with sun glasses while having on the helmet. It is a good helmet for the money

KBC Modular helmet
This helmet fits very well and I love the matte finish.

Very satisfied
The front closes with sturdy metal latches, locks shut with a solid sound like a car door closing. The helmet is wide enough at the bottom to make putting on over glasses easy. Very small noise penalty over a full-face helmet. Excellent visibility, good ventilation - the mouth vent prevents inside fogging. Nice helmet for the price.

The good, the bad, the ugly.
While this is a pretty good modular helmet, the longer I have it the worse it seems it is.
Good: Fits great, I have a rounder type head, nice a snug all around, no pressure points. Locks great, the flip down locks securely in place, also locks up so you can look down and such with it open. Great ventilation, though this cause lots of noise. Looks great too. Unlock buton is dead center, and easy to use with one glove.
Bad: Visor tab to open visor itself is off center which leads to fumbling for it to open your visor. Noisy helmet. Rear neck pad always un-snaps.
Ugly: It helmet falls apart when dropped. I've dropped it twice. Once from 3 feet, once from about 2 feet. The 3 foot drop broke off the visor and the top vent flew to pieces. It all went back together after finding all the loose pieces and playing with it for awhile. The second time I dropped it from 2 feet was the worse. The top vent again flew to pieces, the rear exhaust duct popped out, and the chin bar flip up piece popped out of the slider hinges in the side of the helmet. That from 2 feet. Wow. Took an hour to take apart what was left on the helmet, and reassembled the thing.
Conclusion: I'm buying a Shoei Multitec this winter and retiring this helmet after its first and only season.

Nice looking helmet
This was the first modular helmet I bought. The face flips up very easily, and you do not have to struggle with it. And since the flip button is located on the inside, it should not flip in a crash. The tacky KBC sticker on the front DOES peel off. The top vent opens and shuts with an easy push. And when combined with the mirrored visor, definitely gets top points for looks. The only downside I have noticed is the helmet hurts the top of my head after riding at highway speeds for more than 30 mi

kbc ffr helmet
Excellent helmet very comfortable a little wind noise but not bad. No drag at all with face in open position. KBC offers some optional shields that are quite nice, wish I could have gotten them here. I would recommend helmet with confidence.
