I wore this helmet for the first time yesterday and it was great. It was 93 degrees and my head didn't get too sweaty considering the heat. Great air flow!!!
Never again.

My first helmet was a Nolan modular but the latches were difficult to operate. I thought this updated version would be a good replacement even though the price was a bit steep for my budget. I was wrong. The howling noise this helmet makes even at low speeds makes it almost unusable. The inner lining is held in by plastic studs that are supposed to snap into holes. They don't stay in place causing the lower padding to come loose every time I put the helmet on. I can't say what their one-piece helmets are like, but if you are looking for a modular, do yourself a favor and get either Scorpion, or HJC. Do NOT waste your money on a Nolan. They are manufactured poorly and have some pretty serious design flaws that cause excessive wind noise.

Bought this helmet to replace my Nolan N100. Looked at other helmets but the reason I bought Nolan again was the chinstrap (buckle release). Makes it so easy to get on and off. Lets in a little more air through faceshield (really feel it on cold days). Even with thick winter gloves on I can open the front release with one hand.

This helmet fit right the first time that I put it on. The functions are very well designed and easy to use. The instruction manual leaves much to be desired, but that is true for many as they seem to be written by engineers, not users. I would prefer better instructions on the helmet, but overall, it isn't too difficult to figure out. The wind noise doesn't seem to be an issue, at least not at legal highway speeds. I don't yet have an intercom or communications system installed, but it seems well provisioned for that in the future. Riding with the face shield open or closed seems to work well and the anti-fog visor is a great addition.
Good overall

The helmet has a very nice finish and some well designed features. The shield has an internal layer that prevent any fogging. The sun screen is also really handy and easy to operate with gloves. Same for the flip-up. The helmet is a bit noisy at times. Nolan provides extra ear padding that helps a bit. The vents work also quite well - you can actually feel the air on your scalp. The foam inside is not the best texture however, all the parts are detachable and can be washed.
Overall, it's a pretty good helmet, especially for the price tag.
