Moose Racing GSA +4

I got this shield to replace the Cee Bailey's one I'd been using for the past 6yrs. It had been over $500, so I wasn't expecting the same caliber product for under a hundred bucks, but this one is just as good. I've been riding it for a while now, and it provides at least as good protection from the elements, and doesn't have any real buffeting issues. I hope they are still available when I need another one.

Moose KLR Winshield

Very happy with this purchase! I'm just under 5'11" and with this shield the wind is diverted up and over my helmet. Also, nice not having the buffeting on my chest as I did with the stocker. I gave it 4 stars on fit because the stock shield is contoured to the shape of the fairing while this one is not. It installs easily but it does leave a bit of a gap due to not having that contour. Great product though and highly recommend it!

KLR +4 windscreen

Overall the windscreen does a nice job. It reduces wind buffeting considerably. The one aspect I am displeased with is the fact the edges are not beveled like the stock windscreen, therefore it does not fit completely appropriately. I believe the edges should be beveled to match the stock windscreen.

High buffeting on 12GS

Nice new n clear look for replacing my faded 2009 12GS windscreen. Buffeting is much stronger than stock (I bought +2" taller, +4" maybe better). Made from thick acrylic, no effect from petrol, but won't be as strong and flexible as stock polycarbonate (won't use for off road ride). No rubber washer provided, stock washer is not fit there, you can use any rubber washer for 2 front bolts to stop vibration n scratch or crack.

Great Value

I installed the touring shield, which is 4'' taller than stock, on my V Strom 650. The shield, along with a Madstad adjustable windshield bracket, is a big improvement over the stock set up. I went with this shield because it wasn't too big to see over it, and because it was about half the price of the competition. Most of the buffeting is gone, just a little at highway speeds, but quiet on the backroads. It's a keeper!

moose racing windscreen

Windscreen now diverts airflow over my helmet, but I still look over it, perfect! A lot of outward pressure from the plastic windscreen on the side-mounting screws, hope they dont pop their heads off! Love it.

Excellent option

This windscreen actually does reduce buffeting! WOW! Simple installation with stock hardware and it looks great on my flat black 2008 V Strom 650!! Will be awesome for Summertime riding!! Thanks for the great product!!
