I have wanted this helmet since my motorcycle safety class. The instructor had one, and I really liked the ability to put the chin bar up and ride open faced without having to remove anything. The convertible feature was a real selling point for me. I finally got the birthday money together, measured my head, and ordered it. When I put it on, it was like my face was in vise. I sent it back (good returns policy on Motorcycle Superstore - took longer than it should for the refund, but nobody is perfect). Got the XL and really was barely any larger. If you have a wide face, don't waste your money. Never got a chance to ride with it.

It looks amazing! And, feels great. I'm a medium and because European products are known to be smaller, I purchased the L. It fits just like a M. So go one size over your normal size. It comes with a 5 year warranty, so that tells me they really stand behind their product.

I bought this helmet on looks and feel and was happily surprised how good it felt while riding. I also have an ICON Carbon full face and its alright, but I love the feel of this helmet more. Its great when checking blind spots as it doesn't catch the wind like a full face being that its basically round. I was unsure how the goggles would be with wind etc and honestly theyre also great, wind doesnt go through them or around them, its a nice light helmet. The only thing I wish it did have is an inner shaded visor that drops down when needed!

I had an old Shark modular helmet that I loved. I ordered a new helment, XL, and it was smaller than the original helmet and they don't make an XXL. I'm very disappointed and had to switch to another helmet.

This is a great helmet for local roads but can get noisy during highway speeds. Because of the goggles, this helmet is great for glasses wearers. The googles fit over my black-rimmed frames perfectly and hold them in place during riding. I am unsure of how well the goggles will hold over time. The goggles can scratch easily if cleaned improperly with residual bug guts. I put the googles back in front of the helmet after removing the helmet from my head as I feel the foam on the googles may wear out over time. The plastic cowl is best attached after reading instructions from Shark. I first tried plugged them in but figured out that it is easily and more stable if they are inserted at 90 degrees first. My Shark RAW helmet did not come with the rubber plug that goes on the top of the helmet. Instead the top vent piece can be adjusted to close off the vent during rain. However all instructions included with the helmet and on Shark's website still refers to the rubber plug that is suppose to come with the helmet. Overall, I am happy with the quality, style, and fit of this helmet. Highly recommended.

I have to wear glasses and this is one of the few helmets on the market that I can fit into with my thick black-rimmed glasses and provide the chin protection. Fit is more snug than other Shark helmets. Although I fit a Shark RAW helmet in large, I had to upgrade to an extra large for the evoline to comfortably ride without feeling like my head is being squeezed.
