I bought this helmet because I like the features. I like that you can wear it open on warmer day and close it for the cold and rain and looks good doing it. Now the bad. I went by their sizing chart and using that I ordered a medium. Not a problem because some of my helmets have been medium but most large. I couldn't even get this helmet over my ears. Sent it back and got a large. I managed to get this one on but it was so tight I was biting the inside of my mouth. I called customer service, great, by the way and tried to find a solution. I bought the smaller cheek pads @ $50+ and tried that. No good again. Called customer service again and told them it still didn't fit. Oh well, they found me the same helmet in XL but I had to wait a little longer for that to arrive. Tried it on and it's still too tight on the cheeks. I took the cheek pads out just to make sure the helmet would fit at all. It fit great without the cheek pads but now the is an unfinished area where the cheek pads were. I guess I'll have to spend the additional $50 to get the smaller cheek pads. It seems that the difference between XL and XXL is the size of the cheek pads. It's going on 2 months and I still don't have a helmet that fits. It's a good thing that MC Superstore has a great return policy since you can't try these on. The bottom line is, these helmets are small. Order a bigger size, maybe 2 sizes bigger then what the chart says and cross your fingers.

I got into Shark Helmets When I first purchased the Speed R Carbon Skin. I loved that helmet but my one gripe with it was the retractable sun visor that I could do without. Now, that the time came to replace my helmet, I opt for the Race R. I choose the Pro Carbon because the Carbon Skin model was not available in my size. Needless to say I love the Pro Carbon. It's light, very quiet and the airflow is the Beezneeze...?? Considering I live in the devil's armpit(130s it get) during riding season. The fit is right for me. And took me three days of riding to break in. This helmet is worth every penny.

I have ridden 4k km with this helmet and love it. I do not have to take it off at gas stations, enough to open it. It is streamlined even in open position, so it looks good and fit for ride at higher speeds too without breaking my neck. However it took a long time for the liner to adjust to my head and it was fitting tight. I also tried to put my eyeglasses in the slot of the liner, but it was inconvenient procedure. Now after 2 months I just put the helmet on my head and it fits ok. I wear earplugs for longer rides outside the city. Buy this helmet, you will not want another one. I love the sunglass, although the top could be darker. I love the push lock of the strap. I recommend the white color helmet for Summer time.

Love the helmet and the features, but more should be said about the shape of the head configuration,( as to oval ,intermediate oval)had headache and sore ears after only 1/2 hour. Had to go to different brand helmet.

Just got this helmet from a buddy of mine cuz it didn't fit his head, and I love it! Better than any other helmet that I have purchased over the years! Very low wind noise which is awesome! The LED's are a very cool touch and really convenient for my SENA Bluetooth headset, has patches where I can place my speakers and have them not hurt my ears, which is also really nice!

This is a good looking helmet and a great idea. I think the final execution is lacking. I recently took a two week, 3800 mile ride and found this helmet to be noisy and the one day we had in the rain the visor leaked. I also had difficulty installing a Sena 20S because there is very little room for the speakers. It is also difficult to put on glasses. (I had to compress the styrofoam behind the padding for the speakers and eyeglass temples) On the plus side I loved the built in dark visor and being able to ride with the full face stowed unlike other modular helmets.
