Great tire

Great traction, short life, 1500 miles is tops on my DR650. A little squirrelly on the pavement, I can actually feel the bike move side to side when going straight. However nothing grabs better off road, or on gravel roads. Some people are fine with a 50/50 tire, myself a appreciate being able to have confidence going into a gravel road corner and knowing the bike is going to hold under power. Many other high rated dual sport tires let go without warning, not this one. Get good at changing your own tires and buy 2 of these for about the same price as the big names.

DR650

Very thick 6 ply tire. Did not try to spoon on. Not good on paved roads. Squirrelly and not good in curves. But this is the BEST dirt road tire I have ever ridden. Off road is excellent for a duel sport tire. If your 80% off-road try this tire. Can't beat the price.

entire knob cut off in green river, UT

This was on a KLR 450. Tire with only a few rides on it. We were riding on loose shale outside green river UT (woodside, UT) and the tire took a cut that nearly took off an entire outer knob. Cut was about 2" long and went through the carcass and tube. Instant flat and not trail repairable. Had to limp it back to a service road to be rescued. Until this happened, tire still looked new and was hooking up great

Good replacements for my play bike DR200se

These tires are good, reasonably priced for my putt putt ... around town bike. Lots of rubber. Soft ride, probably good for 4K miles. Went on easy, use lots of soapy water and you can almost force them on without tools. My only complaint is the rear tread pattern is buzzy loud on the street. When you lean to turn it stops until you are upright again. It's a little noticeable. People walking ahead of you can hear you coming. Front tire is great, no noise.
