Awesome sand tire and a great bargain!

I'm back to report that this tire lasted over 5K miles of dualsporting in FL heat on the front of a 400lb DR650SE. I ordered another before I was even halfway through the first...it was that good in the sand and mud. Unless they come out with something better at this price, I plan to keep one of these in the garage for as long as I ride sand.

    AMS Sand Snake Sticks

I was skeptical when I saw the tread but believe me, this front tire sticks extremely well in the sand. I'm riding the soft sand of the Ocala National Forest in Central Florida and the tire stays where you put it, no wash outs. Glides over deep sand much better than original IRC and steers where you aim it. The tire grabs great and the price can't be beat.

    AMS Sand Snake front tire

You cannot beat this tire. Performs just as well as all the other tires that would have cost me three times as much. My bike isnt designed for the street, niether is this tire- duh. I will get another. Dealing with MSS is always good, will of course be back.................

Works in sand as advertised. Surprisingly durable on DR650, but expectedly squirrely, on pavement.

Cheap. Decided to try it. EZ install...barely need levers. Deep sugarsand ez now, even w/street K761 rr. Steer, turn, & stop crazy better in deep sand vs OEM TW. Surprised that knobs last so well for hwy & street too. Expected them to round/burn/chunk off within 1st 100 pavement miles, but they still grab in sand/mud/gravel/dirt/grass & look fine after 1K or so of slab/street. Feels squirrely in paved turns & @ 75MPH+ on slab, as expected, so be mindful. NOT sportbike tire.

AMS - Sand Snake MX Front Tire

We previously bought a rear Sand Snake tire for our new KX250F, and since we're just getting into MX we thought better turning grip couldn't hurt, so we bought the front tire as well. These tires are extremely cheap compared to what you pay for ATV sand tires, and should give better traction in sand than trail tires, just as their counterparts do with ATVs.
