Clutch holding tool

The tool worked as well as it could. It would not hold in some cases when a lot of holding power was needed on other gears.

Clutch Tool

This product works great. I worried about the fit, but it was good. Using this tool is better than buying the clutch hub.

Useless until modified

I bought this tool to remove the clutch bell on a scooter. It worked, but only after I modified it. The two L-shaped fingers that hold the clutch have no teeth, rubber grip or other texture to actually hold on. Under torque, the tool would slide, twist and pop out of place. It also bent under the load. I cut a pair of notches in the fingers and the tool worked perfectly. Disappointing that I had to modify the tool for it to actually do what it's meant to do.

Gets it done

This tool worked great and definitely beats paying 150 bucks for a Suzuki tool. Couldn't find a better price anywhere.

Works on my Kymco Xciting 500

This fit my Xciting 500s clutch bell using one side and fit the variator using the other side. Had to tap it slightly into the variator and it held fine. I then used a steel tent stake as a wedge against the frame so I could put plenty of strength into my half inch breaker bar to break the nuts loose. Same for tightening back up. Not a tough job, though. Glad it fit both for sure.

Motion Pro Clutch Holding Tool

I was worried when I got the tool that it didn't look big enough for my Suzuki DL1000 Vstrom's clutch. However, it opened up enough and worked fine. The shade tree alternatives that I'd been considering probably would have resulted in damage. Glad I got it.

Clutch Holding Tool Review

Does what it is supposed to do. You can make your own but clutch hubs are expensive if you break one. A cheap investment.

Clutch Tool

Works just as you expect it should. I wasn't too happy paying more for shipping than the cost of the tool but when you need it, you need it.
