Contents was not adhesive.

Received a similar tube in the Renthal package however my tube was all white with no writing on it like the picture above. No big deal. Cracked the seal and the entire bottle was a tacky blob that stuck together and never dried to this day. I'm thinking it had to have been defective or there is a possible shelf life that my tube was well past.

Mixed Experiences

First off, it didn't dry as quick as some other reviews claim... I had plenty of time to adjust the grips. The right (throttle) side is holding up nicely whereas the left( clutch) side is not, with both sides cleaned equally well. Perhaps it's because Plastic (right) vs Metal (left)? Will be doing the left side again once I get a chance.

Glue doesn't hold

I cleaned and prepped all surfaces as recommended and put more than enough glue on the grips. I've had two let loose after only a few rides. Have to keep applying. As far as I can tell this is the same glue as weather stripping adhesive you can buy at any auto parts store for less money.

great glue!

At 38,000 miles, my new-to-me Harley ultra classic was losing its left handgrip by slow motion. After a VERY thorough cleaning (pocket knife and S.O.S. + water and lots of elbow grease, both on the handlebar and inside the grip), we stuck them together and waited patiently 24 hours, not the prescribed 8. Eureka! She's as solid as a rock. Get Renthal !!! -- John

Stuff is better than the last glue I used

Stuff is better than the last glue I used. Tube is also a lot LARGER so I will have enough to do it to a 2nd bike.

doesnt stick to grips

the glue is more durable in colder weather.... unfortunantly here in texas gets over 100 degrees.... so when the tep heats up the durability fails... like its still wet...even after 24 hours of dry time.... sadly i had to try another glue... will try this one next...

Put ur grips on...FAST!

Great glue, holds well, even in the heat of a trackday in the summer. I have used without safety wire, although presently I wire my grips, and the hold is superb. I DO wish the colour was black instead of yellow so the excess would blend better, but otherwise good stuff.

Grip Glue

The Renthal grip glue works great. Make sure you apply enough, wire the grips so no water can get in and ruin the bond, wait for it to dry, and your good to go.

Goopy goopy glue

The glue works well, though it's a little goopy and runny. It dries very quickly, so you've got to really jam your new grips on FAST. It's very tacky, so I would not recommend using the product with bare hands. My only real complaint is the light beige color of the glue - just kind of ugly is all.
