These boots are more like shoes, with floppy tongues.
No matter how tight the laces are, the youngest still flop. If you ride a bike with no wind or rain protection, you're gonna have a breezy, and maybe wet ride.
Similar comments to what Scott wrote: I got these in the same size as my running shoes (about 1/2 size over dress shoes) and the boots never felt really comfortable. They're just too tight to the point of hurting. Thinking it's a matter of breaking-in, I started riding in the Sidi's, but they never become comfortable enough. I just ended up ordering a 2nd pair a full size larger and hope that these will fit as expected. Will make someone else happy with the barely worn smaller pair.
After struggling 15 minutes to get them on you'll find they are too small ... the Velcro strap won't go through the buckle ... it's WAY to narrow ... provides zero traction on smooth surface so be careful walking ... worth maybe one half the price ... maybe less
Great value for the price. Haven't tested the waterproof claim yet. And won't intentionally! I wear 11 US which translated into 44 European for this boot. I would really translate 11 US into 45 European. So fit is a little snug. Not sure I would walk a mile in them, but for riding they are fine, in fact I prefer a little smaller profile for reaching shifter and brake. I didn't bother to return since I got them for a song and hope they soften a little with wear. In retrospect, I would order a 1/2 size up on the next pair.
