The safety features are good, the shoe fits good, I love that there are no laces. The problem I had with these shoes is that the sole split. Not the outside mind doubt a piece in-between the outer sole and the lining. It happened on both shoes so it can't really be an anomaly and it happened pretty quickly after I got them. The way they split is right across the ball of my foot (the part that assumes the most flex when I walk). Also the toe rubber on the right shoe, the piece that's only real function is to match the shifter reinforcement on the left shoe, that unexplainably started cracking and is now completely gone so my shoes no longer match. To sum it up, they're alright but I'm looking for a different pair of boots right now.
I bought a set of these 14 months ago and this Spring noticed cracking in the leather on both boots. I contacted Tour Master and they had me return them for inspection. Today I received a new pair and cannot say enough about their service. I am sure the issue I had is not common with these and I do know that my wife has a set that are 3 years old and they are still good to go.
Alpinestars gear is like Michelin tires you don't have to wonder if there going to be good you just put them on and ride.I have tried many other boots and had to return them for fit or leaks or just junk . These are great boots went through 3 days of pouring rain and snow no leaks great feal , the only thing bad I can say is I wish they were A little taller . Should of got the Roam 2
