    Great Summer Jacket

I've had this jacket for about a month, and so far I love it. The medium fits perfect on my 6', 195 frame. I've ridden in temps up to 90 and it's true, once you get above 30 MPH it feels like you aren't wearing a jacket. My only minor complaint is the zipper. It feels kind of light-duty and you have to get it lined up just right to get it to start. It hasn't broken though, and as long as it holds up for a few years without breaking I'll be a totally happy camper.

    Great Jacket!

I just completed a 5,300 mile motorcycle trip and wore this jacket the entire trip. I experienced temperatures ranging from 25 degree to 100+. The 25 degree temperature was a little chilly and temperatures over 90 degrees got warm. But, overall a very pleasant jacket to wear. Very comfortable and you are never aware of the padding. It keeps you from getting dehydrated and keeps you cool at average temperatures. I'll be wearing this when I ride from now on.

    Quality at a decent price

Tourmaster makes solid products. This is my second Tourmaster jacket, the other is for colder riding. I got this air flow jacket for summer riding, I'd say good to 85 degrees. I tried once over 90 and was HOT. Air flows well when moving. I like that all the adjustments are Velcro, not snaps. Only the very nice liner uses snaps, understandable. The armour is in the correct positions relative to the body. These run large IMO. I am 5-10, 170 and a medium is if anything a bit too large.

A little wide (for the american gut), but great jacket

Get a size down from what you think you need. I got an XL based on Chest size, but the jacket is pretty wide and baggy.

    Good Buy

My only issue was that according to the sizing and the person I spoke with I find the Chest size is off. When not wearing thick clothing and you take the rain liner out, the jacket is too loose but I have already worn it several times and can't return it. However, I do like the jacket and the zip out rain liner. I will give it a good try out in June when I make a cross-country ride. It is a good product for the price and is quality manufactured.

    What a bummer

I was able to wear the jacket a few times before the zipper broke, I looked down and it was just flapping in the wind from the bottom. I hope it was just a technical fluke. At first the jacket seemed to be well made and I thought I was ready for several years with it. With the liner in and a sweatshirt on I was good down to about 40 degrees. I am definitely an "American" Cut, and the fit was great. I am not sure what I am going to replace it with.

    Completely happy

I got this jacket about a month ago and I'm completely happy with it. I ordered true to size and it fits nicely with just enough room for another layer if I need it. The shell is comfortable on the warmer days up to 80 so far and down to about 65. Below that it's been good with the lining down to 40. I haven't tried it lower than that, but another layer should cover my needs. All around, a great value at a good price.

    Robert Bair

Best buy for the buck. Great safty features for the hot day ride. Works well for cool nights, with rain insert, needs a sweater for colder nights. Has many snaps to contend with to add rain incert, but all are color coded. The nature of the beast for all of these types of jackets.

So far, I like it (don't know about durability since it's new)

I've had the jacket for a short while. I always wear a jacket while riding and I got this jacket because it's hot in the summer. So far, this jacket is really good on the hot days (of course, I'm comparing to a leather jacket). With the liner, it does a good job when it's cool outside. It did a decent job when I drove through very light rain too, but I only had one chance so far. Can't say too much for durability since it's new. This is my first jacket designed for riding and I like how it fits.

    great jacket for the price.

Its 60 degrees for the ride to work and 90+ for the ride home and this jacket works great for both. It has also replaced my rain jacket. It works so well I just ordered one for the wife. It's a great jacket for the price.

    Hot Early Summer Gear

Despite earlier than normal high temps in VA this jacket has been terrific - I'm a novice but totally impressed with this design. Great warm/hot weather gear! Thanks.
