Yoshimura Tri-Oval TRS Dual Slip-On Exhaust

I have had this exhaust fitted to my Yamaha 2006 R1 for about a month and I am really pleased with both the look and the sound (a choice of baffles in or out allows the sound to fit my mood!) The exhausts were a great price and delivery to the UK was quicker than expected- thanks Motorcycle Superstore.

Good for the price

Put this on a GSX650F, but bought one for the 2008 Bandit 1250. Same muffler but the Bandit pipes have a bracket for the center stand bumper. The center stand is optional on the GSX650F. Easy to install, took a little longer than planned as you have to drill a hole where it connects to your bikes down tubes. Used the supplied low volume insert, and one recommendation is if you are going to use it to put it in before mounting the muffler on the bike...easier to put in the retaining screw rather than working under the installed muffler. A little louder than stock but not obnoxiously so. Seems to have more power but that could be perception bias. Didn't realize Yoshimura recommends you repack the muffler every 5000 miles...most take it longer from what I've found. So, we'll see.

Great exhaust

I'm pleased with this exhaust but I thought it would be louder. I had the Two Brothers on my old bike and that had a deep throaty sound, this Yoshi wasn't as loud as I expected but the looks turn heads.

Looks great - sounds awesome

I got this for my 2014 Ninja 300- the carbon fiber looks really great on my all black bike. Installation was a breeze- I recommend removing the lower cowling on the right-hand side. The sound is throaty and quite deep- although it doesn't drone or boom like some other pipes do when you're on the highway. Search for the YouTube clip by Arcade15 and you can get a decent sense of the character of this pipe. It backfires/crackles a bit on decel.

Yoshimuro exhaust

Bought this slip on finally for my 09 fz1 and it is much more than I expected. I commute into Orange County- about 40 miles a day and this makes it much easier to lane share and weasel around traffic. I wish I bought it sooner! Definitely worth it; easy to install- maybe 45 minutes.

Amazing 2001 R1

Simple to install. Hardest part was getting the mounting bracket straight. Sounds great and the hp boost is even better!
