I mount these on my 2006 KLR which I use for mixed riding, and I am highly pleased with them. The road performance is better than expected; predictable, quiet and stable, they feel very similar to a road tire. They are also good on dirt & gravel surfaces, offering excellent feedback before they begin loosing traction. I find their traction very good under all conditions. In about 20,000 miles my experience is that the fronts get about twice the mileage of the rears. These are the best road/dirt/all-weather combination tire I have found for my KLR.

Came on my ktm 690 r I have 4000 miles on them with maybe 1000 left. Ride it every day. TRY to stay out of the throttle. Way better then expected on road. Can all but drag pegs before sliding on pavement. A little loose in sand. No problems anywhere else other then in rain and high winds. Like I said, every day. Great hookup in almost all conditions. Will use again.

I have been running these tires on a few of my 600cc thumpers. They are a really good tire for mild offroad and daily street/gravel use , basic general purpose usage. Good traction in dry or wet and they are my go-to tires on my winter rims for on snow and ice (I sipe/cut thin grooves in them for even better bite) for daily commuting all winter. Tread life is average , 3000-4500 miles on the rear(cutting for winter looses mileage) , they do cup some since the tread is a pretty soft compound , which is what gives them such great traction, so a trade off. Not for mud or wet loom , will fill up and spin .

Have these tires on several DS bikes used for street and mild backroads . A really great tire for daily rides on dry or wet streets, gravel , dry dirt, loom . Not for wet dirt/mud or grass . Tread lasts me 5500 to 7000 miles depending which bike and how hard I ride that bike . Traction is great as is cornering . Smooth and quiet running . I have a 19" rear on the front of an XT600 for a SM style and a 150-18 rear(6" wide), great use for them. Will continue to buy for my SM and 80-90% street DS bikes.

I decided to go with the D606 based on other reviews that I have read. I have a Honda xr650L and drive about 60/40 dirt vs street. The tire made an amazing difference off road. I rode in the mud, gravel, and dirt with amazing rear traction. this made a huge difference in the control I had. However, tire is annoyingly loud on the pavement. So if you ride mostly off road this is a great tire!
