I have fallen in love with this jacket. I haven't had it that long so I can't comment on the durability, but it is high quality leather that should last. Since I got it on sale I got a great buy.
I want to address the fit comments. This jacket does fit looser than any other of my RSD jackets (Clarion and Vandal)around the waist. I think that was intended. Given the name City Jacket implies to me that it can be worn not only for riding but also as an everyday jacket. And as an everyday jacket I like the fit. Don't want to look like a biker all the time.
Just received my jacket today and my first impressions are very good. I was worried about fitment because my measurements were in between sizes, as usual. After some research online I found that river-road tends to run large so I rounded my measurements up to the closest size and got that. I suggest you do the same the jacket fits me perfectly.
The jacket looks sturdy and well stitched. Although there is no padding I'm very confident it will hold up to protect me from any road-rash should a low-side incident ever occur.
The jacket has more pockets than you would know what do to with. The two outside waist pockets have zippers, the chest vents double as extra pockets. On the inside there are breast and waist level pockets on the removable liner with velcro and a breast pocket on the jacket. More than enough room for keys, phone, wallet, papers, rubber ducky, etc.
Overall I think it's easy to see why this jacket has a full five-star rating. If you like the looks, you won't be disappointed in any other way.
I just love the look of this Jacket, I want to know do you have this in black Soft and Lightweight, Distressed Retro Vintage look. A removable inner lining. Also I am after a Logo put on the back.
