Not made for short people!!

I loved the pants when I bought them. There was a little bit of room in them but I thought they would be comfortable. Also, after reading previous reviews I hoped that the snaps would stay done up. NOPE!! I think they're magnets!! Next problem is I'm 5'2". They were at least 3 in too long. So I cut them but then I realized there is no Kevlar heat protection where I need it. I will now take them to a tailor and have the snaps replaced and the Kevlar I cut off put down the side of each inner leg to keep the leg from melting, which it already started to do. So if you are over 5'4" great summer pants. Not waterproof!!

Versatile but not durable

I've had these pants for about 2 years, wearing them for my commute a few days a week. The fit is pretty good even for a short person with big thighs like me (maybe just a little tight?). They are really versatile with the vents and the removable liner. However they have 2 significant drawbacks: 1. the zippers on the vents actually scratched my bike! 2. A few months after I got them, bits started falling off and about a year into wearing them the zipper started to fail until it completely broke a few months ago. In retrospect, I don't think they were great value due to the durability issues.

Good except...

Just bought these pants... I received them quickly and they fit great both on and off the bike and with my jeans under them. My only concern is that the pants have 2 snaps in the front that when I bend, or sit on my bike decide they will unsnap themselves. Would love to see the pants have a button more like what's on jeans, or some other kind of clasp besides the snaps. I will be removing and replacing them for myself. Besides that, these pants are great.
