Great pair of reasonably priced boot!

I've owned and worn these boots while riding for a couple of weeks now. First thing to address would be the sizing. Based on other reviews, I bought mine a little smaller than normal. I generally wear an 11 1/2 (occasionally a 12) in a tennis shoe or work boot. And I generally need a wide fit. I bought these in a regular 11. I think that was perfect! Sure, they were a little rough and snug at first. If you know anything about leather boots and work boots...they take a little time to loosen up and break in. After wearing these a few times, they have actually become pretty darn comfy. I've ridden to work and kept these on and worn around the office the whole day. They were more than plenty comfortable to wear through the whole day. The finish it what I would expect of a matte leather boot. I cannot speak of the overall durability of the boot itself. I can say that the laces are a little lacking. Some the outside casing is already wearing thin on a few spots on the laces, so I foresee having to replace the laces sooner than later. But I really don't care, as that's quick and easy and cheap. That alone would certainly not sway me from buying these boots again. I love them and would recommend them.

Very disappointing!

Great looking boot, comfortable, fits well and fits true to size. It's a shame to say the quality is so poor. These boots have literally fallen apart since day 1. Soles have separated, came unglued, stitching separating, the list goes on. Very cheaply made so stay far away from these boots. Don't waste your money! By the way, I decided to glue them back together and use them for work boots, shouldn't have wasted the glue! Junk!

S&S Hard Knock Life Boots

I just bought them recently and wore them for a few times. They fit snug but they are not too comfortable to walk around in. As I walk the front part of the boot cuts into my foot. If the upper part of the boot was more flexible, it probably wouldn't hurt. However, they should last a long time based on the quality.

Hard Knock Life Boots

I really like the style and fit of this boot. I have to agree with others that the sole leaves a lot to be desired! I added some Dr. Scholls gel cushions and it really improved the feel of the sole. This boot has a smooth tread which I did have some loose stones on the road and the boot slid right out from under me so be careful with that.

Broken upon first wear?

Great looking Boot! The fit was VERY wide which worked out great for me! However these boots do not lace like a normal boot through the top layer of the leather, they lace to a small piece on the inside of the leather. This design is not very strong and I am not a fan. My first time wearing the boot I had ripped one of the lace holes and had to fix it. Was not looking to buy a boot that I am always going to have to be fixing and sewing though!

Nice Black Boots

These boots are really nice. They are very stiff and the left one pokes my ankle in a weird way, it hurts. That sucks, I am hoping they just need to be broken in. They look bad ass.

Fell apart

I bought these, wore them three times and they fell apart. The heel on one of the boots came unglued. Very disappointing.

Boot Review

The boot is very hard to break in. It rubs in many places. I don't think the inner padding is very good.

Disappointed...

I was excited to get these boots. They look great and feel great, would be even better with some added gel soles. Unfortunately, I never even got to ride with them. The second time I put them on to take my first ride with them (first time was just trying them on), one of the buckles just snapped. The side latch/buckles are made completely of plastic. The pin that connects the buckle should be made of aluminum at least.

Still breaking in.

I haven't had a lot of time to ride with these boots or walk in them since it is cold here now. They are still in the break in phase but seem like a very nice pair of riding boots. They do seem a bit stiff right now but I think that will be less noticable down the road. I like the feel of the foot controls better in these boots than the boots I wore previously. I have a much better feel for the brake and shift controls than before.

Horrible design!

The ratchet latch at the top. God forbid you push down too far. They don't adjust back out. Also feels like they dig into my angles badly. Returning and hoping to get my money back!.

Nice boots

Can't say anything bad about them. They are comfortable and with a pair of gel insoles added, I can't tell I'm wearing boots.
