Almost as good as the Transition 2

This jacket is nearly as good as its predecessor. The sizing has been changed and now the medium is way too tight and the large is a little too loose and tends to flap in the wind. Tourmaster has added neoprene and rubberized velcro to the cuffs making them much too bulky. Gauntlet gloves are now difficult to get on and won't slide around the cuff when swiveling the wrist. I am having my seamstress modify the cuffs for me.

    Tour Master Transition 3 Jacket

This is my third Tour Master Jacket over the years and this is the best yet. The adjustments for good fit with or without the liner or layers of clothing underneath. The venting works as described and it is a good feeling to have the armor that is provided. I chose red for visibility but the reflective piping is very effective. Overall a very good jacket for all types of riding.

The jacket is pretty tall. Decent jacket for the price. I am 5'10.5 and 165 lbs. small to medium torso with the arm length of a large (lanky person) I got the medium. Arm length is good but a lot of extra space in the upper chest and shoulders. Am keeping the jacket. Plenty of pockets.

Rode in 37 degree weather and the jacket is very warm. The fit is just right. The jacket is very comfortable. I got a very good price on this jacket from Motorcycle Superstore and I am very pleased with my purchase. The back zipper fits my Fieldsheer pants which is another perk. I am happy with all the features on this jacket.

    Solid cold-weather jacket

I bought this jacket for spring and fall riding in the northeast. This jacket is warm and comfortable when I'm riding in 40F weather and above. It worked great this fall. In the spring, I expect that I'll need the zip-out liner in the morning but will want to remove it when the sun gets high and temps rise. I am short and stocky, 5'6" and 180, and large fits me just right. I don't intend to wear it in summer weather, but it seems like it would be too warm for that.

    Best Motorcycle Jacket Ever

I´ve had plenty of more expensive motorcycle jackets, but none as great as this one. It is extremely comfortable, especially around the neck area, which has been an issue for me before. It seems that the collars can be irritating or get hung up on helmets, etc. However, there are none of those issues with this jacket. I have ridden in below 32F weather and was felt very warm. The sleeve straps work well to keep the air out. I am very happy with this purchase.

    Warm Jacket

Love everything about this jacket- the only downfall to this jacket is that it doesn't have hand warmer pockets. I knew this going in but it sure would be nice to have. 205 lbs 6 foot tall average/athletic build and XL fits perfect. I tried the large but the arms were too tight.

    So far looks awesome

I just got my Tourmaster Transition Series 3 jacket and am very impressed with it. It fits me perfectly (I got a large, am 5'11" and 155 lbs), and it has more features than other similar jackets I have tried on in this price range. There are vents all over the place, and they have a unique method for holding them open- you unzip the vent and fold the velcro back on itself. Can't wait to put some miles on this jacket.

    Transition 2 was better!!

The transition 3 is supposed to be the better new and improved version and it is not. They cheapened the design. Pockets no longer zip close and the loss of the waterproof chest pocket is disappointing. There are some improvements in the Neoprene added to the wrist and neck areas. This is still a top notch jacket for a bargain price just not as nice as the old one. It does work well in temps from 35-85. I would recommend this jacket very highly just not as highly as the 2.

    Love the jacket, but

The front zipper did not consistently zip up.I suppose I could have ridden with just the Velcro closed but that's not safe.

    Nice Jacket

Live in Buffalo NY. Nights are getting cold. Jacket fit is great, with many adjustments to suit your body.Have rode in 40 oF and stayed warm. Lots of pockets and places to store your cell and other items. So far water tight in a moderate rain..Nice craftsmanship too. NOTE: Motorcycle Superstore had to do an exchange for me.PAINLESS! These guys are great ! Girls too!

    Do not buy this coat

After only 3 months it is falling apart. The thread on the front of the coat has come apart leaving the coat open near the pockets. The thread attaching the Velcro at the vents in front is also coming apart. Not sure what happened to Tour Master but their quality is not what it used to be.

    Awesome jacket!!

I really like this jacket. It has loads of storage, waterproof, several vents, and has an insulated liner for cold days. It truly is an all around 4 season jacket. I've worn it in rain, 90+ weather, and windy conditions. It performs very well. Comfortable. Under $200 you will not find a better jacket. Period. I did a LOT of research before settling on Tourmaster. I'm 6', 165 athletic build. The large fit me perfect. Just buy this, you won't be disappointed.

    Very visible

The jacket is a good fit and as it is the high visibility, does stand out. The is a 'Small' with a good fit and keeps me warm in winter, but may be too snug in summer with 110F temperatures. I previously had a second hand Transition 2 'Large', and this was fine in summer, so I will go for a 'Medium' if I have summer heat problems.
