Scott gray replacement lens

Lens is sometimes tough to install on the little nibs but stays in place once there. Always completely scratch free when new but seem to scratch a bit easily. I suppose no worse than other lenses. The gray color doesn't seem noticeable (a good thing) while riding but you realize your eyes aren't as tired after wearing them out in the bright light.

Great lenses

What I like best about the Scott lenses is durability and ease of installation. Rose is the color I use almost without exception and fewer manufacturers seem to make them. Good for in the woods and in the sun.

AWESOME

These lenses are great here in the Pacific North West. Going from light to dark so often it is an awesome feature. The change from Green to Blue is immediate and makes a huge difference at high speed. Been riding for 32 years and I would use these anywhere. And cheap to replace. I am on 2nd set. Scott please DO NOT STOP MAKING.

The best lens (and goggles)!

I have had my Scott goggles for about 9 years now and needed to replace the lens (they were scratched up pretty badly). My old lens were the amber colored ones and were probably too bright in the sun (I go ATV'ing in Utah and Idaho). I got a pair of the auto-darkening lens and they are perfect with my Scott 80 over-the-eyeglasses goggles. Well worth the money, the auto-darkening is just right and things are a lot clearer!

chrome (aka black chrome) best choice for direct sunlight

The chrome (black chrome) tint is the darkest tint you can get w/o color distortion from the blue & green chrome lenses. This is the preferred lens in both my 80 and 87 series. Be careful in cleaning these lenses, they are scratch prone so it is best to use a light duty optical cleaner and optical / eyeglass cloth (microfiber or handkerchief) - in fact this was a replacement for one I had purchased earlier this year since I used a shirt-tail that had a tag on the inside of the lens, was not a good choice on my part. Not only did it scratch it damaged the tinting so it had swirls of light spots around the scratches. When cared for properly it has high clarity. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for use in direct sunlight.

Not too dark at all.

I was a bit worried how this would compare to the blue tinting. No problems in shadows or dark spots on the track. Fit and finish was perfect, as expected of Scott lens + Scott goggle.

These fit great and like all lenses are great until that vine maple scrapes across the face of them. Part of the perils of woods riding.

Scott 80 Goggle replacement lens

Now that I've switch from wearing my sun glasses to contact lenses, I needed to get a darker lens for my Scott goggles. These fit perfectly, were easy to replace, and have the perfect amount of tint.
