Sun visor pivots are weak, Good basic helmet

I've had this helmet for three years. It is good to put on quickly, I use it on my scooter for shorter trips. As with all helmets of this type, there's plenty of wind noise so if you take a longer trip, use earplugs. The sun visor is quite good but after three years of heavy use, the visor pivot failed on one side, just not enough material around the pivot opening. So I'm removing the broken visor and keeping it as a backup helmet in case I have a passenger. The insides can be removed and tossed into the washing machine to keep them clean. The chin strap is good and not too far forward. For a basic old fashioned helmet design it is OK. As with ALL of my helmets, I also wear protective shatter resistant glasses to keep debris out of my eyes at higher speeds. Never ride without a helmet.

Replaced with Vega XTV

Sun shield did not work properly. Carbon fiber look was good. Weight was more than my Vega Helmets.

Nice helmet for the price

I like the looks of the helmet and the pull down sun visor. You must be careful pulling down the visor. The straps seem to be placed too far back for me. The chin strap I find difficult to get fully tightened. The helmet itself seems very well made and well lined.

Visor issues

The helmet fits well enough, and I really liked it for the first week or so. I noticed quickly that I experienced turbulence behind the visor when it was down, and I am now finding that it won't stay up. This helmet is quickly becoming useless to me.

Needs some minor design changes

This is a good fitting helmet. The rear chin strap that comes down and joins the front chin strap needs to be shortened by 1/4"+ to even out the balance of the way the chin strap fits when tightened. The hidden sun shield doesn't operate very well and locked in the down position so I had to remove it. The liner is easily removable for washing. This appears to be a well constructed helmet and would be a great helmet with the above fixes.

I really enjoy this helmet and for the price you can't beat it. My friends love the sunshield. It wears well and no wind problem. Needs air vents. I'm happy with it!

good helmet

of all the helmets i have owned this by far its been one the best. fit and finish are outstanding, the shield works great, specially since i wear glasses. the only drawback is a little hot ( no air flow vents ) but living in south Fla its not bad.
