PIRELLI SCORPION TRAIL II DUAL SPORT FRONT TIRE

This is the 2nd set of tire I install to my FJ09, the first one I got around 7000 miles, this tire is really good to handle twisty road and a light dirt road. It went very stable on the cornering, also grab the road very well even on the mud of wet weather. The only thing is the price that you need to pay a little more compare to others.

Best dual-sport tire for the rough stuff!

I've had multiple sets of these Pirelli MT 21 tires on my dual sport bikes over many years. They're aggressive, bite hard, are good in sand in the desert, and have very strong sidewalls. I ride mostly dirt, but need DOT approved tires to be highway legal. IMO these tires are as good as full-on dirt tires off-road. They're a bit more money but I'll definitely keep buying them!

great tire

Put these on my WR250R for more street use. Road grip is great the is the second time of put these on a bike and I think the road feel and grip is amazing for a dual sport tire. I have not been off road with them but on flat dirt roads they are fine.

new rear tire

Very nice choice for a all-around rear. Used in sand and snow and am very pleased. Made my dual sport a different bike.

Verdict Still Out

Although what drew me first to this tire was the price point, then the reviews, I purchased front and rear. Big mistake, don't believe the fluff, the offset edge lugs are something to be desired causing an unstable lean angle. (Also keep in mind the casing is a lot narrower then other manufactures) Third turn and down I went with a slow layover. Air adjustment, riding adjustment and 4hrs later I decided to burn them off on the street and chalk it up to another bad purchase. Ok bang-for the buck but spend $40.00 more and choose something else.
