    Rev'It! Airwave Jacket

The concept may not be groundbreaking, but the execution certainly is. The Rev’It! Airwave takes the proven mesh jacket style and focuses in on the details to give a fit and finish that is second to none. Highlighting this fact is the Airwave’s high quality mesh construction; featuring a tighter weave, the mesh lends a soft, flexible and tough feel that does not hamper airflow. And with a full complement of CE approved armor, this Rev’It! jacket becomes a tough summer time offering to beat.

    quality but.....

This is no doubt a quality product that is appropriate for SW Florida heat. Here is the but; the collar is so small you cant button it closed and contrary to what I have read this is very much a European cut. I am 6' 205 lbs and barely fit in an XL. So snug in fact I had to return the knox back armor I purchased with it because me and the back protector could not get in the jacket at the same time.

    Definitely worth the cost

I'm 5'6" and have a stocky build. Bought a medium and the jacket fits perfect. Very breathable, which came in handy during high humidity 90(f) degree weather. Have to go in early for work past few weeks, has been in the low 50's and there is enough space in the jacket to wear it over a wind breaker. Have been using it for the past six months and has been holding up great. No frays or visible wear. I will definitely be buying Rev' it in the future.

    Zipper?

Great jacket for the warm seasons! But whats up with the zipper on the wrong side (womens orientation). I see on the tag a man and women symbol which I guess makes it a unisex, but the zipper is too small, not easy to engage, and backwords!

    too stylish not enough function

Yes it's very pretty, but just like a supermodel, you need to be able to use it, not just look at it! I have an XL chest (per their size chart) but the sleeve length was slightly too short, and the sleeves fit my arms like a sausage wrapper! all parts should increase with sizes not just the torso.

    Works as advertised

Everything looks and works good except for the collar. It is a little tight and to some people it may be a pain. Good jacket for spring/summer time!

    Backwards Zipper

Just got this jacket. Fits great. I'm 6'2", 175lb, I got a Large. So maybe I don't have as much of a problem with the collar. Only thing that is driving me crazy is that the zipper is on the wrong side. The loose zipper is on the left, so it's like trying to button a woman's shirt. Not sure why they did that. Otherwise, very happy.

    Airwave Jacket

Placed my order on Sunday and received it on Wednesday. Quality jacket that I would recommend. I am 6-0", 200 lbs., 44" chest w/ 36 " waist ( medium build ). XL is a perfect fit for me. Based on the quality and value of the Airwave, I will purchase from Rev'it again. Merry Christmas !

    Constricting Collar

Loved the jacket, except the collar was way too tight. Rated with a "2" on fit because of the collar. No need for that type of collar on a warm weather jacket. Returned the jacket and purchased the Teknic Supervent Mesh. I'm a 44, go for the 46 for the Teknic. Teknic has a rain liner, Airwave doesn't.

    Great Jacket

Great in 60-95 degree weather. 5'6"- 150lbs - men's medium fit perfect. Looks very sharp with high vis yellow accent on sleeves. Knox protection in the shoulders, elbows, and back is substantial but you hardly know it's there. I added a Knox TP2 back protector. Women's back protector fits better- smaller & less bulkie than men's. My wife bought a 42. She is 5'8" and 160lbs. Wish the women's had the high vis sleeves!

    Easy, Breezy, Beautiful...

This jacket flows a ton of air, has decent storage, good visibility and would be the perfect summer jacket if not for that stupid collar. If your neck is not long and skinny like a turtle, the jacket is going to strangle you. Who thought this system was a good idea?!?!? As one other reviewer says, it feels like wearing a neck tie. Also, at $200 bucks, I feel there should be some type of rain liner, a better zipper, and a back protector that was thicker than a kleenex. Come on Rev'it!

    Good Summer Jacket

Lots of air coming through the mesh layer during hot conditions. The shell feels sturdy and promises longevity. I ordered size M which has a snug fit just the way I like it. My chest is 41". Only complaint so far is the collar. I'm thinking of modifying it. I prefer a regular collar without a locking mechanism to let more air in.

    Great summer jacket

This jacket works well in summer Florida weather. It’s very breathable, has a great look and it's well armored… feel well protected. Large is a perfect fit for my 5'11" / 175 lb frame. The collar feels a bit tight but it's doable.
