MSR Racing - Heavy Duty Tube

Better tube than standard. I had one problem with a valve stem, which was easily replaced.

Premature failure

This tube failed after only 3 rides. The only damage I could find on the tire or tube was the valve stem tore loose from the tube. Obviously the tire spun on the rim, but I don't believe that happened till after it went flat. It had between 20 & 22 psi in it (same pressure I've been using for the previous 2 years with no tire slippage on the rim). I think it must have begun to split open around the valve stem, causing the flat in the first place. I will never again buy this brand of tube.

MSR Heavy Duty Tube

It fit and it holds air, but I would not call this a "heavy duty" tube. It is not thicker than other "standard" tubes. My oem Bridgestone was easily twice as thick.

Liked the product.

These were used on a 5 BMW with Shinko trials universal tires. The product went in well and did everything I expected. The price was a little high but then, what isn't these days?

Great Tubes

These tubes withstood a beginner putting them on without pinching. Still holding air great.

not as heavy duty

I expected this tube to be a bit more substantial. Thinner than expected. Still holds air as it should.

MSR Heavy Duty 18" tube

Had a hard time getting this tube on the rim during installation. Thick rubber made it hard to work with. The tube looked and felt like it will do the job. Made in China. Personally I prefer the iRC products.
