The Creation of Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki Racing

Take a look into the origins of Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki Racing and how all the parts came together to create a full-blown race outfit. In less than 60 days, Motorcycle Superstore Racing went from a handshake, to lining up at the gate at Anaheim 1!

Motorcycle Superstore Announces Race Team

Motorcycle Superstore and Albertson Enterprises are pleased to announce the launch of their Supercross and Motocross race team, Motorcycle Superstore / Suzuki. The team will contest the full 17 race Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series and 12 race Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a four rider roster in the 250 class on the new 2016 RMZ250 Suzuki.

“This is just the opportunity that we have been waiting for. After sitting down with the crew at Motorcycle Superstore, our plans and visions aligned perfectly. I couldn’t be more excited to start this relationship” stated Jimmy Albertson.

For Motorcycle Superstore, this is a unique strategic marketing platform as much as it is a race team. They are looking forward to telling stories about the athletes and the products they use, via their website, email, endemic and social media, and at the races.

Rod Lopusnak, Director, Operations Head Motorcycle/ATV Sales Operations states, “Suzuki is pleased to partner with Industry Leader - Motorcycle Superstore on their new 250 race team. This will bring both companies excellent opportunities to showcase their product and brands! We could not be more excited that Motorcycle Superstore selected our all new RM-Z250 as the foundation of their program. Motorcycle Superstore’s passion for the industry, racing and management made this an easy choice. We look forward to working together and strategically growing this team into a future contender!”

Meet the Team

Team Intro

Meet the 2016 Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki Racing Team!

The four rider lineup will compete in both East and West Coast Supercross as well as the full Outdoor National series. Racing west will be Kyle Cunningham and 17 year old rookie, Mark Worth. Racing east will be Jimmy Albertson and standout rookie Josh Osby.

#45 Kyle Cunningham

Kyle Cunningham

26 years old from Willow Park, TX. Rider # 45. Cunningham is a well-known veteran in the 250 class, proving year after year that he is always a top competitor in the field. Motorcycle Superstore/Suzuki is very excited to have Kyle join them this season, not only because of his high level of racing, but to also help their rookie riders learn the ropes in the Pro ranks. The Texas native is hungrier than ever to get back in podium form and is ready to take on the 2016 season with his new team, Motorcycle Superstore/Suzuki.

#84 Jimmy Albertson

Jimmy Albertson

27 years old from Shawnee, OK. Rider # 84. Albertson is a well-known racer and industry personality that has built a great following. With his focus back on the 250 class, Jimmy and Motorcycle Superstore are looking for stellar results in 2016!

#174 Josh Osby

Josh Osby

19 years old from Valparaiso, IN. Rider # 174. Osby is a name that has been flying under the radar for the past three years. Josh did not have a typical start into racing at a young age. He got his first bike when he was 10 years old and within a matter of four years, after begging his parents to take him racing, he was already battling at the front of the field in the highest level of amateur racing! This summer Josh won a moto in the 450 A class at Loretta’s. In the Monster Cup Amateur All Star race this past October, he earned 4th overall, including a 3rd place moto finish. Josh caught our attention by beating numerous factory contracted riders at Monster Cup, in route to his podium finish in the first moto! Motorcycle Superstore/Suzuki is excited to get the opportunity to work with this “Dark Horse” in his rookie season as a professional.
