    Great tire

First time with this on the front of my 2007 Stratoliner. I have the same on the rear. Only rated the tread life low as I do not really know how it will do, only have 500 miles on it so far, but I did have the Commander II on the rear last time and it got 12K miles, which for a Stratoliner is not bad. I have found that it seems to really not like the road snakes in the pavement, but that would be my only observation that was not great.

    2001 Ultra

Put this tire on 2,500 miles ago. The tread depth at install was 6/32 of an inch. After 2,500 miles on my Ultra carrying me and the wife plus our gear. I would say loaded on the heavy side, The tread depth is still 6/32 of an inch. The front is stable in all conditions so far. The reason for the 4 rating in the wet was because I ran through some fresh stripping paint and the tire didn't like that. In the rain it feels just fine.

Front & Rear Michelin Commander ll

Had to ride in a pouring rain storm here in Texas a few weeks after getting these put on. They are excellent in the rain or dry pavement. Would have changed from the Dunlops sooner if I had known how good they performed. Great tire and a great business also. Will do more.

Michelin Commander II for my 06 Road King Custom

I've only had these tires on for a little under 500 miles but already I can see a remarkable difference over the stock Dunlops. These Michelins offer a smooth ride and the handling is great. The road grooves, tar snakes and bridge grating that the Dunlops seem to have a hard time with are non existent. I can't speak to the wet weather performance yet but overall these seem to be a great touring motorcycle tire.

Michelin Comander II front and rear tire for Honda Magna third Gen.

Tires work much better than K555's in both grip and braking. Rear tire used to lock up with only moderate brake pressure, not with the Michelin. I have not tried them in the rain as of yet. Tread life is to be determined. I put the 170/80/15 on rear, 120/90/17 on front. Turn in is great and did not affect my speedo very much. Speed checked with GPS showed it right on at 60 and 70 mph.

Not as good as I expected...

I ride a 2003 FXSTSI– (Softail Springer for the uninitiated). At 8,700 miles, the front tire was worn into the wear bars; the rear tire had a 1/4" of tread left. I am a motorcycle instructor; I ride my bike for demo's as well as commuting to my classes. I feel like the handling and cornering were very good. I bought a 2nd set to see if the mileage holds true to form. If it does, there won't be a third set in my future- I will look for something a little more durable. Keep the shiny side up!

    Best tires I've had

I love the Michelin Commander II tires. They ride better, handle better, and last longer than other tires I have ran over the years. Hard to beat these tires.

    Great tires so far.

Haven't been able to ride much since I replaced the tires on my FLH, but I have noticed that the motorcycle rides smoother with the Commander 2 tires than it did with the Dunlops I replaced. Grip on the road seems better also.

    Amazing tire

Excellent tire! I ride an ultra classic about 12,000 miles a year on summer trips all over the country and in all weather. Have no complaints at all on this tire. Handles good rain or shine. I put 18,600 miles on this set of tires. (Front and Rear) They are starting to cup out a little now and the tread is getting down there so time for another set. You cant beat the performance and the price is great for a quality tire. Just had another set delivered two weeks ago.

    Michelin Commander II front tire

I replaced my rear tire with the Michelin II some time ago and I have been very impressed. Now with the new Michelin II on the front my Harley rides and handles like a dream!! 5 star all the way.

    Just as I thought

I've used Michelin tires on my car for years and have had zero problems so when it was time to replace the OEM Metzlers, it was a no brainer. So far, so good. However, it is still too early to tell about the tread life. But I expect it will be very good.

    Great tire

Purchased a set last year for my 2008 Super Glide Custom. Great handling wet or dry. Have 7,000 miles on them now and still have plenty of tread. Not like the original Dunlop that was slick at 5,000 miles. Just purchased a front tire for my 95 Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

    Commander II tires

The tires are very stable and hold the curves well. I have not ridden in rain yet so I cannot speak of how they will do in the wet conditions but I do know that dry traction is very good. I am just hopeful that the tread life is going to be an improvement over my Dunlop original tires.
