Bar-Narness (w/o END CUPS)

Works well, however. Even slightly tightening the hold-down straps, it DOES "scrunch up" the throttle handle (I hate that!). Therefore, I use the bar harness ONLY as a secondary strapping (not tight) in case my primary straps break. I carry an extra set of primary tie-downs. I would recommend the Bar Harness with the END CUPS that fit over the ends of the handle bars.

Best I've used

Ordinary tiedowns would rub on my fairing while transporting. The Canyon Dancer moves the connection point to the end of the bars, so no rubbing.

Canyon Dancer

This is a great product that makes tying down a sportbike much easier, but I would like the canyon dancer loops be shorter to avoid the issue of bringing the other tie downs down to minimum length.

great concept could be slightly improved

This item works great in assisting tying down a sportbike. Due to the nature of sportbike clip ons and fairings it is usually difficult to find a good place to tie down without hitting the fairing side panels. The canyon dancer brings the tie down loops out to the end of the grips, thus eliminating hitting the fairings. However, I am really close to the minimum length of my tie downs and I feel the loops that attach to the actual tie down could be a little shorter.

Don't buy a sport bike without buying one of these too. It's that simple, just buy it.

Bar Straps

Without these straps, no one can tow a bike with a faring. They work great.

well made--may not fit

I do not recommend these if you are using risers; or are going to travel more than 5 miles; or if you are hauling a heavy (greater than 400 pounds) motorcycle. Too much stress on the handle bar to use alone. Recommend use of supplemental straps. Too small for stock handle bars on Yamaha VStar 1100 and Honda VTX 1300.

Canyon Dancer - Bar Harness

This item is the best specialty item to use in conjunction with normal strap tie downs when transporting your motorcycle. It will keep other tie down straps from scratching any metal through the normal vibrations while moving on the trailer or on the back of a pickup truck. Because my Yamaha FJR has a lot of front faring, it was difficult to even find a way to stabilize the bike except using the gas tank or handlebars. This solved the problem. Great product.

Really Good Buy

I bought these to haul my ZX-14 from California to Louisiana on the back of my pickup. I am really happy with these. After 2200 miles and a lot of stopping and going, I did not have to tighten or adjust these once
