Alter ego woman's xl

For the price you cannot beat the design details and versatility of this coat. I am 5'11" and 170lbs and found all of the adjustable straps provide a flattering fit w/ sleeves that are actually plenty long and the overall length covered my lower back with coat length to spare!. I removed the vest and wore my heated liner instead and was very comfortable at 40 F Seattle day.

Jacket Review

I received this jacket, loved the color and the cool embroidery. However, the fit is something else. The inner jacket arms were way long, and I have long arms. Also the inner jacket material felt inexpensive. I returned the jacket. The overall fit was unflattering. Still a guys jacket, not cut for a woman.

Alter Ego is perfect for mine!

I've test driven the 3.0 (white) 1000's of miles. Eye-candy on a cruiser, increased visibility is obvious. 4 for fit because the elbow could tighten a bit more, for me. Several adjustments for personal fit. Armor is non-invasive & comfort of this jacket, even in extreme heat (100+) is great. Venting is more than adequate but doesn't make you feel paper thin, I've worn only the shell in a decent rain & it was protective, albeit a bit cool. Terrific variable weather jacket.

Fantastic Jacket

This jacket is incredible for the money. I am 5'1" 120 pounds, and went with the medium. The sleeves are a little long, but overall the jacket has a great fit. Have worn it out it high 50 to low 60 degree weather and found that with just a t-shirt on under it, the jacket keeps me warm. Would definitely recommend it!!

only jacket you need

Bought this for my girlfriend, have been out already and she was wonderfully warm. Knowing she can peel off layers or add to suit the ride gives her a feeling of being prepared for anything. The fit is short with figure, no elastic stretch or give at bottom so the first jacket fit perfect except at hips, so went from xsmall to small 5'1" tall 120 lbs. So if you have a figure, definitely go a size up, and order with confidence, motorcycle superstore gladly exchanged.

Alter Ego 3 Jacket

If you are a D cup or bigger you will need to go the next size up from the size chart. Not fond of velcro sleeve closures Not as warm as it would seem.

Way too big, especially in the shoulders

It's more than likely my fault, but I ordered an XL thinking I'd have room for a hoodie, but it was HUGE. I'm 5'4, about 150lbs and I looked like a linebacker. The shoulders were far too broad and even cinching the backstraps didn't help. It's a cute jacket, but the sizing didn't work for me.

Good Jacket

I've really enjoyed my Joe Rocket jacket, it fits great, didn't like the plastic zippers but very happy with everything else. Have had several compliments on it. Would recommend.

Excellent jacket!

This is the BEST jacket I can think of owning for riding my scooter and 2-up on our motorcycle. I've only been (as low as) in the mid-60's in this jacket, so far, but have been very toasty with the mesh inner and the outer layer over it. PLUS, the outer layer has vents for when it warms up a bit. Oh, BTW, in 92 degree weather, the mesh (has the armor) part of the jacket is plenty comfortable, with the air blowing through it. I LOVE this jacket!

Great jacket

I ordered one of these for my wife for a long trip we were taking in August. After 3000 miles in 9 days, she still loves everything about the jacket. It kept her warm, dry and cool when she wanted and was always comfortable. Wish I had something like it!

Great look, fit and versatality!

I am a full figured woman and have been searching for a nice, flattering jacket for some time now. The adjustable fit is great, really shows off my curves. The 3 in-one layer options are awesome. Most recently, we got caught in a rain storm on I-95, I was able to put the overjacket on and stay nice and dry. Then once the sun returned, I took it back off and the ventilation kept me cool and comfortable. I love this jacket and highly recommend it.

I want one

Got this for my wife on her birthday, and she wore it on a 4 day ride in Co. She love the way she could customize it to the weather, and the great fit. Plus the air flow in the heat. The shell was great at 12093 ft. I am next in line for one.

Not all season for Canadians

Overall I like this jacket and I'm glad I bought it. But I wouldn't pay 200 dollars for it again. The mesh is hard on the elbows when you wear the outer layer, although it doesn't seem to be a problem with just the mesh jacket. I bought it thinking the liner was a full sleeve insulated liner. It is insulated, but it's just a vest. wouldn't take it below 15C. I do like that the outer shell has its own tags, inside pockets, and a coathook loop so you could wear it by itself, just no spots for pads.
