That's the ticket!

This is a well-made cover. Installed on 1983 Suzuki GS750T. I do not recommend (nor does the maker) using the 'drawstring' method to fasten it. I used the old 'tangs' that bend out to fasten the cover. A couple were rusted away, so I used pop-rivets per instructions. Used a razor to cut out the hole for the key. The leather grommet around the key-hole looks sharp, as well. With the new paint and shiny clear-coat, it's a done deal!

Saddleman review

Packaged well and arrived quickly. The seat is extremely well built and looks great. Installation took about ten minutes to switch the bracket from the old to the new, snapped right in and fit perfect. Comfortable ride and the back support keeps you firmly in a excellent riding position. I must highly recommend it as a replacement for any single or double seat.

Shipping was slower than I expected. I ordered two weeks before my trip. It barely made it in time. Great seat for a great price. Fit was perfect.

Breaking in with a hammer

Here I am again with a report on breaking in my Saddlemen seat on my Triumph America. After putting close to a thousand miles on this seat, I still found it to be far to firm for me. You are going to laugh, but I found a way to soften it up. I started pounding on it with a rubber hammer. several times a day I give it a couple of dozen licks with the hammer. I can't believe what a difference this has made. The seat has actually softened up to the point of being comfortable. If you try this, don't hit it hard enough to damage it. Just a firm hit is all it takes....Jack

Awesome Seat!

This seat is quality and has a nice, sleek, vintage look. I've had a number of riders ask me what brand it is. Don't be alarmed when you install it and the seat feels no more comfortable than the stock seat. Depending on how often you ride, it takes a little time to break it in. After putting about 10 hours in the saddle, it fits my butt like a glove. It relieves the pressure points of the stock seat and provides a substantial amount of lower back support. I highly recommend this product

Saddleman Road Sofa Seat

Received the seat and started to put it on. Only came with one bolt, Missing 3 bolts. Went to hardware store matched up the bolt that came with it and bought the other 3 I needed only to find out 2 of the 4 holes were stripped out. Now I have to fix the stripped threads before I can finish installing it.
