Saddleman Road Sofa Seat

Received the seat and started to put it on. Only came with one bolt, Missing 3 bolts. Went to hardware store matched up the bolt that came with it and bought the other 3 I needed only to find out 2 of the 4 holes were stripped out. Now I have to fix the stripped threads before I can finish installing it.

Bad review

I recently wrote a bad review on the Saddleman seat I purchased for my Triumph America. I would like to resend some of the negative statements I made about this seat. I have since ridden the bike around 500 miles and the seat is getting more and more comfortable. I would still not call it the most comfortable seat I have ever had but I have high hopes for it getting better as I put more miles on it. Jack

Not great for Harely Sportster

The seat itself looks to be good and is comfortable, especially for the passenger. However, the design of the seat exposes the tops of the side plate covers just under the rider. In particular the battery and electrics. The factory seat fully covers the tops of these plates to shield from rain. Depending on your bike, I don't know if I would recommend this seat.

Profiler Seat

Easiest to install on honda shadow aero. Looks much better than the original on the bike.

Great Seat!

Waited to review the seat until I had some time on it. My first impression was "Wow what a nice seat"! Looked fantastic out of the box, very easy to put on. Looks good on my Yamaha V Star 1100A. At the first sitting I thought that the front seat was a little small for me. A few blocks down the road I was thinking not too bad. After a few miles it's so comfortable I don't even think about it anymore! It does move me forward just a little and maybe down a bit also. The wife loves her new seat as well. I looked long and hard at the other seats before I picked this one out. Not a seat for big people, average to small it's great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this seat again. HUGE improvement over the stock seat (which is the worst I've ever sat on).
