Very good jacket

In this price range it's a good buy. The jacket looks good and feels good. I'm 6' and 200 pounds, I thought the large would work but the arms were to tight the XL was the right fit for me. Just like anything else try before you buy.

Good Jacket for Warm Weather

The Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0 Perforated Leather Jacket is a great choice for riding in hot weather. When I first picked up the jacket it felt fairly heavy and wasn't sure how well it would vent. Once I zipped it up and got on the road I realized that this jacket breathes pretty well. It kept me quite cool on my way to and from Bike Week 2015.

Excellent product

I have been using this product on a DAILY basis for the past 2 years. Excellent product with no problems at all. Very well ventilated, durable, and it doesn't show the wear. I use it in sunny South Florida to commute and would certainly buy another one like this in the future.

After a long hunt This was It!

After much searching, went with the Joe rocket. Glad I did! This is a great jacket for the hot summer. The fit is spot on, good protection, Great air flow. Maybe too hot for temps over a 100. Just keep moving. I think this will only get better with age.

Great Jacket

I'm a slim 6'2". It is hard to find clothes that fit right. Ordered a medium tall, and it fits great. The airflow is good, and you can tell you're protected while wearing it. I'd suggest upgrading the back armor.

Not bad.

This is my first motorcycle jacket I have ever bought. First impression out of the box is this jacket is a beast! HEAVY! The built in armor is comforting and tough. This jacket is made to be warm as well. I have this because I just took my MSF class over the past weekend and conditions were 34F and snowing. My whole upper body stayed warm. Im kind of worried that it will be a little hot in the summer.

Joe Rocket Sonic 2.0 perforated jacket

Feels stiff at first, but quickly loosens up. Great airflow for a leather jacket, when you are moving. Can get warm when you are not. Fit is loose through the back to allow you to reach forward without the sleeves getting too short. This makes it feel a little oversized when just standing around.

a Jacket for tall guys!

I'm 6'-4", 215lbs and this is the first jacket I've found that fits me correctly (Large Tall). The perforated jacket breathes nice on the highway but can get a bit warm tooling around town. I bought the jacket along with the Speedmaster pants that have a matching 360 zipper and I'm very happy with both. The only bummer is that the logos don't match from pants to jacket but otherwise they work well together.

I love everything about this jacket, very cool in the summer, ride last weekend in 103 degrees, only felt heat at stop lights. Will buy the non perforated one for winter. you have a customer for life Joe!

Perfect Leather Riding Jacket

Very impressed by the quality and fit. Being in Phoenix, I really needed something that will breathe in the summer months, and this fits the bill.

Outstanding Jacket!

After trying on several different brands of leather riding jackets, this proved to provide the best fit, looks, and perceived protection factor.

Excellent jacket for Florida weather

I've had this jacket for a few weeks now for every day commute and I am very happy with it. It is allows cool air through, it's well designed, fits well, and very good finish. I had only a minor problem with one of the seams but it doesn't pose any problems. I've had another Joe Rocket (different model) jacket for several years and had no problems at all, so I trust this brand.

NECESSARY EQUIPMENT FOR HOUSTON

I ordered size 4XL as I am 6'2" and 235 lbs with an athletic build. The shoulders and length are a perfect fit. I purchased the jacket less than a month ago and have been using it daily. While riding, the jacket is true to form. The wind rushes through and keeps me cool when it's in the low 80's. This is important in Houston. Things heat up when stopped at a light. The lining works great on cool mornings. I have not put the padding to the test (knock on wood), but it’s reassuring to know it’s there just in case. The jacket is heavy, sturdy, and looks great. I would recommend this product. I also recommend getting a size larger than your regular size.

Very nice jacket.

Tall guy here. I’m 6'4 and 200lbs. Finding gear can be a chore. I just wanted to mention that the tall/large fits me perfectly. I’m also someone who doesn’t skimp on protection and this jacket has great elbow and back protection. I have the perforated model and the only complaint there is that it gets a little chilly in the winter months because of that. (duh) Layers underneath help. Also if you've never had a leather jacket this is a well-made and also slightly heavy as a result. Thus I would say if you ride in climes upward of 95 degrees or very high humidity i would go with a textile jacket over leather for ultimate comfort. I live in Virginia and find this jacket to be superb 60% of the year. I think the lesson is there just is no all season jacket. All that said this is a high quality, great working and looking jacket that I would buy again. BTW check out the Rocket mesh jackets too they are outstanding.

worth the money

Great jacket, all protection where it should be. Ideal for temps down to 50 degrees, not bad in 100 degree heat if you keep moving. I normally wear a size large to xlarge, ordered according to chart and bought Medium, fits great, not much room for under clothes but if you need warmer you don't need perforations...
