Awesome durability and convenience. I've used the spin-on filters for over 10 years on numerous street bikes and race engines - and no issues. The 17 mm hex head on the spin-ons provide great convenience in installation and removal.

I bought it because it's suppose to be a good quality oil filter. Not being able to see it in operation, it's a matter of trust. I've used K&N air filters for years and on numerous vehicles, so I figured I'd buy the oil filter. It came with both base plate and bolt shaft "O" rings.

It's an oil filter-simple. It fits well and has the 17mm nut already pre-drilled for safety wire--a great benefit for those running track days.

Have not had on for that long but did make an improvement on Noisey valve train noise you get on these bikes on start-up. Make it a lot quieter but still rattles a little. Thanks K&N. Would like the price to come down a little more.

I always buy K&N and have never been disappointed but then again how would I compare it to another filter? I play it safe and buy K&N - prefer to be on the safe side.

I've been running this filter for about 400 miles now and it seems to be working fine. The filter certainly looked A LOT more substantial than the stock ones I had been buying.
