In the past I tried using everything in the shop I could think of to clean jets and finally gave in and ordered this tool - the PROPER tool for the job. Simple, precise, and correct tool for cleaning jets! Buy it!

The product works like it should. I've cleaned a couple of jets with it, and presuming I'm not rough with it, the product should last for decades.

This is the only tool of its type I could find so I probably shouldn't complain too much but...
(1) The description didn't list all the sizes it has. I was just lucky it included one of the four or five sizes I needed. The sizes included are (+/- .01):.30, .375, .45 (one smooth and one knurled), .525, .60, .775, .80, .875, .95. The sizes from .45 up have both plain and knurled sections. It would be great if it included more sizes (I happened to need .40, .425, 1.20 and 1.25 also).
(2) The construction is as cheap as it could possibly be. The bar that the wires hang on is too thin so it is easy for the wires to crossed and out of sequence and makes it hard to work with. If you're cleaning just a couple of jets, no big deal, but if you're doing a bunch it gets to be a pain.

This tool works very well for cleaning the small ports and orifices in the carburetor. Sometimes corrosion can't come loose with chemical cleaning and this tool really helps with that. I have used a similar tool used for cleaning torch tips in the past but the sizes aren't right often enough, but this tool does fit the holes much better than the torch cleaner and does a very fine job.
