It was shipped very promptly as usual. The exterior appears to be stainless steel and it appears to be a very heavy duty lock. It came with several spare keys , one with a light. There is also a carying pouch for your handle bars. I now have had it for over six months and it has been easy to take on and off and have had no false alarms so far.
