The lid remains flimsy because there is only a latch on one side in the front. If there were some kind of latch on both sides it would sturdy the box up considerably. One of the hinges is bairly intact.

I put this box and on the second ride the lid hinges had broken. Actually, one of the hinges had broken, but the other hinge broke a short time later due to the increased stress. I have never written a bad review in my life over a product, so for me to write this one says a lot. It looked cheap from the start and proved that it was by the second time I used it. There are much better alternatives than buying a box such as this one.
