Missile Pilot Southport,  NC Needed quick, DELIVERED Took my time and reviewed all the options: Givi, Coocase, Corbin, etc. Ran out of time and needed something fast to run from the beach up to Indy for the MotoGP then on through Canada/Niagara and back home with my girl (and all her stuff). So I just grabbed this quick and had it 2day shipped to me. Put it on with my son in an hour with a plate we cut quick to replace the Kawi factory plastic rear rack. Their base plate and hardware are made for a rack you can loop metal ubolts through, so we just used a metal plate and bolter it in place and the Saddleman base plate is my new rear rack. BAM, done for like $125 shipped. Givi? buy the nuts, bolts, brackets, base plate..screw that.. $600 later you have lights and so what. Coocase more bells and whistles, but at least some cheaper, nah. Corbin? are you nuts, I can buy a used dirt bike for that $$. Who is running Corbin now? and why do they think their stuff is made of gold? pulllleaze? I'm not going to leave this on and it's base plate is not ugly or noticeable at all. Love this, bam it's on, bam it's off, locks, has a reflector, my girl rested against it, we bungee cargo netted thousands of dollars of camera equipment on top of it and just hauled a$$. No problems at all. Yes a little light weight flimsy ish, worked fine for me, cheap foam for weather stripping, but it held up in moderate rain for several hours. I would replace with better stripping if I needed absolute waterproof, but it worked for what I wanted it to do.

Dave Hane Newark,  CA Very good product for the price I like everything about this case. The locking mechanism isn't as secure as my Givi case but it is 10 times easier to open than the Givi. Especially with gloves on. Mounting was a breeze. It has tons of room inside and I don't worry about leaving my expensive helmet in it.

Roger Post Fairbanks,  AK Secure, Dry Storage for Lightweight, Bulky Items I mounted the Saddlemen HC-2900 Hard Case Trunk on a 1974 CB750 Honda with a luggage rack, a sport bike use for which the Trunk may not have been intended, and used the Trunk for carrying raingear, extra cold weather clothing, maps, a motorcycle repair manual, etc. on a 2,600-mile road trip. Overall, the Trunk performed admirably, keeping the contents dry and secure during inclement weather. The Trunk is rated to carry only 15 pounds, a surprisingly low load, perhaps because it is constructed of relatively lightweight material. Upon receiving the Trunk, I initially mounted it as far back as possible on the CB750 luggage rack with no difficulty but found that I could only open Trunk part way because the opening lid hit the backrest of my motorcycle's seat. This would have been okay for accessing small or flexible items like clothing but would not have easily permitted large items such as helmets to be placed in the Trunk. Consequently, I fabricated an extended light hardwood plywood platform, bolted it to the luggage rack, and remounted the Trunk further back with new bolts. Such fiddling probably would not have been necessary on a bike without a backrest or on a bike with a longer luggage rack. With these comments in mind, recommend this product for secure, dry storage of lightweight, bulky items on the motorcycle.

david battershell wooster,  OH Saddleman - hc 2900 hard case trunk This a great product. I mounted it on our new trike motor scooter. The installation was easy and fast and the 2 helmet compartment is just what we needed. If someone is in need of a trunk like this I highly recommend this one. The trunk received just a few days after ordering, the instructions were easy to understand, great product.

Scotty Boy Milliron Kent,  WA This Trunk is Great I needed a trunk to fit on the back of my 1982 Suzuki GS 750. I wanted something that did not look out of place for that vintage of bike. I was able to install an old luggage rack on the bike and once that was done the trunk mounted on the rack in 5 minutes. I like the removable thumb screw that holds the trunk on. My wife and I used it this weekend, and when we wanted the trunk in our room it came off the bike in no time at all. Also to note: when the trunk is empty, both of our full face helmets fit inside and can be locked up.
