It's worth the money :)
I actually just ordered the glove shaped attachments for my gauntlet style gloves. It holds my large motorcycle boots and gloves just fine, and it can dry with either no heat or with heat. I got drenched in a ride home (heavy downpour), and my gloves were soaked all the way through. If I were to air dry them, it would take days. With the Peet, it took about 2 hours with the heat on. I put my gloves and boots on after every ride and just leave them on the unit. It's fairly quiet, like a hair dryer on a lower speed (nice white noise I can fall asleep to actually). The one complaint is that when it hits zero for the timer, it doesn't turn the LED timer off. It's easily fixed by putting some dark tape over it though. I also use it to dry my hiking boots. It does seem to take care of any odors too since it has the Ionization.
