Best deal for the money
This is my 2nd Optimate for use at my place in WI where I have snowmobiles and an ATV. My first one is presently keeping all my motorcycle batteries charged and let me know when one of them is getting too old and weak to charge. I've had the Battery Tender Jr. and it failed after 2 years. The Optimate does even more than the Battery Tenders!

So far, so good
Its winter here and it's keeping the battery in good shape. It's never warm and the battery is maintaining a full charge now for the past two months. We'll see how it did when next spring comes and I wake up Scooter out of hibernation.

The charger works well and it holds the charge for several days even with the lights being on I receive a full charge every time I use it so I’m happy with that thanks for the over all durability

You get what you pay for...
A maintenance charger I got from a big box store for less than $20 would keep a shallow surface charge on my bike's battery, not enough to crank and start. With the Optimate III, the battery gets a deep charge, with plenty of reserve cranking power. Thanks to Optimate III, I didn't need to get a new battery.

Tecmate Optimate III Battery charger
Great purchase for any new motorcycle owner. I bought what was described as a 'trickle' charger that did not actually function as such. I ended up purchasing a new off market battery that was only 85% charged. When I read in a repair and maintenance manual about this particular charger, I decided the cost would be far outweighed in the future for not only restoring my original battery in less than 5 hours, but it charged the new one in about 7 hours. In short a must and great purchase! DLE

Gave my Battery Tenders away!
I use one of the early versions of this charger as recommended by Westco for my Goldwing with fantastic results. Purchased the Optimate III here for my V-Strom and gave my old Battery Tender to a friend. The Techmate does a much more thorough job keeping the V-Strom's battery at full cranking capacity with noticeable results after the bike is parked for a full day in the cold weather. Also, this was the best price and cheapest shipping I could find. I will purchase from MC Superstore again!

Optimate III Battery Charger
Worked as promised - Charges relatively quickly and restored batteries that would not take a charge from my other chargers. I wish the adapter was the type of connection used on other battery chargers and many heated accessories (like my Eclipse Vest). I made my own intermediate adapter and all is fine.

Good product
I was happy how easy it was to set and the extras it came with. I wasn’t too impressed on its battery recovery but I have 6 bikes and it did charge them pretty fast.

Restored a dead motorcycle battery
My battery was totally dead after sitting for 3 months while I was away on business (the clock drained it), but 24 hours on the Optimate kicked it back into life. That was 4 years ago and the battery is still going strong.

Optima Battery Charger
I have seven motorcycles and ALL of them are in Optima battery chargers. I trust my batteries to no other. In fact, my battery powered back-up sump pump is also maintained by an Optima charger. Great product that just has no rival.

Optimate II Battery charger
Works great and you do not have to worry about overcharge. The best feature is the quick connect wire so that you do not have to remove the seat to charge. Great bang for the buck.

Optimate lll Battery Charger
The Optimate lll provides a stronger charge than most trickle chargers I have used. It is convenient to use any time as it simply gets plugged in. No reason to remove the seat once installation is complete.
