Great shorts for downhill mtn biking
Bought these as undershorts for downhill/free-riding on mtn bike.
Fits great like bike shorts. I have 32in waist and the Small fit perfectly. Medium would have been too big.
Stretchy enough to pedal on my mtn bike.

Do yourself a favor and buy at 2! They have to be hand washed and if you ride a lot, you'll need more than one. They do the job dang well, no more butt sores on long rides and they fit underneath any pants, jeans, leathers, mesh whatever, seriously great buy!

These shorts run a little big for men's sizes. I have not found any brand of women's padded shorts and these are by far the best I've found yet. They are comfortable, I am not restricted in them, and they have a lot of padding.

great protection where its needed most. i use these for street riding and feel very well protected with them. i wish i would have had them when i crashed in nov. '08. i had major bruising in the area that these shorts protect. another layer of protection is always welcome.

My First Protective Shorts
I ride a Yamaha R1 and I love to lean on turns at high speeds. I have been using them now for over a couple of dozen road trips and I never noticed these shorts or even bother me when I am on my bike. Extremely comfortable and durable. However, it does feel a little weird when walking with them. The crouch area rubs against my inner thighs as though I am waddling like a duck. But you get used to them. Not liking it.... but you do get used to them. Previously, I would use a perforated leather pants which has all around protection. Or I would just wear jeans, which is not good. These shorts are the best alternative. Now I could wear these under any pants feeling more confident knowing there is some protection under the jeans. And of course I wear knee pads when riding. But that's for another review.

Great Shorts!!
Great Shorts!! I am 6' tall and 175 lbs. The large shorts are still a little loose, but will be fine. They need to fit right to keep you protected, so don’t be afraid to order a smaller size. They are a little loose in the crotch area but that is better than being tight.

O'neil Racing Protector comp shorts
The product has a terrible fit, they run much bigger than what most shorts run, I am a 31-32 waist and the small is almost too big, they run baggy. The rest of the product is a 10

Way too tight
I ordered the biggest one they had; I have a 35 inch waist and average size legs for 5' 11''. I could not get them over my thigh let alone up to my waist. I'll stick to standard spandex undershorts.

Protector Comp Short
I have purchased many other styles of protective shorts, but they simply do not compare. These are clearly the best shorts for all types of protection.

Protective Shorts
Light weight and comfortable. The backside padding definitely helps with “Monkey Butt”. The hip/tail bone padding will give good abrasion resistance and help distribute small impact forces, but I think it is too thin to help much with any big impacts.

O'neal shorts
These are excellent shorts! Padding is thin but great for under jeans. I use them for street riding paired with under jean knee guards (I use Moose M1 youth guards for my skinny legs). They do fit VERY snug, which is prob how they should, but I’m not used to compression shorts. GREAT product!

O'neal comp shorts
These shorts are awesome! I use them under my jeans (along with Answer Alpha knee guards) for street riding. VERY good fit. VERY good quality! Minimal padding...but perfect for under jeans protection! I highly suggest trying them! I'm very impressed with O'neal lately (also use their “underdog” body armor). Great products, Great prices!
