POD MX KNEE BRACE - THE NEXT LEVEL IN KNEE BRACE PERFORMANCE

THERMO PLASTIC URETHANE HINGE
  • Inspired by the human body, the ground breaking TPU hinge assembly supports the knee's natural range of motion. The hinge stop housing helps prevent hyperextension and provides maximum medial and lateral protection.
CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE
  • The low-profile frame conforms to you, your riding gear and your bike. The two full layers of carbon fiber enhance structural integrity and keep the total weight to only 660gms/1.46lbs (medium).
SELF TRACKING PATELLA GUARD
  • The patella guard is connected to the hinge assembly which transfers an impact away from the knee cap and into the brace.
MAXIMUM COMFORT + AIR FLOW
  • The thermo-formed pressure point padding keeps you comfortable while the removable vented foam liner keeps you cool.
CUSTOMISE THE FIT
  • Adjustable strap lengths, strap padding and hinge padding. Optional brace locking angles (12.5°, 15.0°, 17.5°, 20.0°).
HINGE TECHNOLOGY
  • At the core of the POD MX knee brace design is the POD Orthotic hinge assembly featuring: Hinge stop housings which control the locking angles of the brace. The PODMX knee brace is supplied with 15 degree "hinge extension stop" housings. These extensions are recommended for most riders with standard biomechanical features. To further customize the brace 12.5° and 17.5° hinge extension stop housings are sold separately and are easily installed. TPU Tendon with tensile load bearing fiber designed to replicate a natural range of motion while riding. The TPU Tendon is replaceable when exposed to a serious impact or force. The POD TPU Hinge Assembly is designed to absorb force through an alteration or partial destruction of some of its components.

Laura Staunton,  VA Saved Knees My son recently had a severe motorcross accident, he landed on both knees, like he was praying. These knee braces saved his knees for sure but the top piece of velcro around his thigh snapped/compounded his femur.

S. Paull Winnipeg,  MB Pod MX Knee Brace It doesn't fit as well as a custom CTI brace, but at 1/4 of the price it works quite well. It gives good mobility when walking. Only drawbacks that I have found in my first couple of rides are that it is a little bulky on the inside of the knee where you grip the tank, which causes your foot to twist slightly outward. It is also a little bulky on the bottom where it fits into your boot. The quality and fit of the brace seems quite good for an off the shelf unit. I would recommend this product to others.
