Dark Smoke Shield
I purchased this so I wouldn't always have to wear sunglasses while riding, and it is truly dark. I am glad that I purchased it, and Motorcycle Superstore did a great job getting it to my house.

Does the job
Well, it's a face shield, so it doesn't have a whole lot of tasks to complete. But the one task it is designed to do, it does well. It installed very easily. The tint looks very slick on my matte black helmet. I commute every day with this helmet, and the bugs have yet to make a scratch on the lens, and it comes clean pretty easily. I don't think there is any anti fog added though, but the shape of the helmet doesn't fog much to begin with, but that would be a nice touch.

XD motard shield
The XD helmet is one of the best Arai lids I own. Switching the faceshield on this model however, is a bummer. I opt to use sunglasses if I’m going to be out past daylight.
